As Chairman of Selectors, one of Rod Marsh’s primary duties is to know the names of the players his selects.
He failed in that duty today.
Perhaps having a bit of a senior moment, Marsh muffed the announcement of ‘Shane Tait’ when revealing Australia’s T20 squad to face in India.
Fellow former international representative Shane Watson also made the cut, as did ten other players who weren’t in the last squad.
