NSW Blues prop Aaron Woods has provided a light-hearted highlight during the dying stages of Game 3 of the 2016 State of Origin series.

With teammate Michael Jennings having just scored the match-winning try, Woods was understandably excited and attempted the logical next step of sharing that excitement with his teammates by celebrating with them.

With victory assured, and the threat of suffering a clean sweep defeated, Blues players began to pile on each other.

The 105kg Tiger quickly made his approach to the pack, but in the heat of the moment misjudged his launch, missing his mates by a good metre.

The miss wasn’t enough to dampen Woods’ mood, though. He continued to celebrate on his stomach before picking himself up and joining his Blues teammates.
