The Wallabies have copped an All Black beatdown in game 1 of the 2018 Bledisloe Cup, coming off the lesser by 25 points at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Australia were strong in the first half, booting two penalty goals and conceding only a single try to take a 1-point lead into the break.

However it was all in one direction after that, as Jack Goodhue, Beauden Barrett and Brodie Retallick all scored for the All Blacks before Australia could find another point.

When they did it was through Jack Maddocks on debut, scoring Australia’s first and only try of the night, putting them within two tries of the lead.

However a quick double from Waisake Naholo put the visitors well beyond reach on the scoreboard, delivering the eventual 38-13 scoreline.
