It’s the biggest event on the Australian horse racing calendar, while also being one of the biggest events on the Australian sporting calendar full stop.

So, if you’re looking for a 2023 Melbourne Cup live stream or just want to check how to watch the race that stops a nation on TV, we’ve got you covered.

The easiest way to catch a Melbourne Cup live stream is through, 10Play – Channel Ten’s live streaming service.

With Ten once again holding exclusive rights to the day, their main channel is also the only way to watch the race on free-to-air TV. Luckily, their agreement also extends to digital rights, so you can access a stream of the race for free either via the 10Play website or app. Simply head to their website or download the app, enter your details and get to streaming!

Your second option is Racing.com. You need to create an account to access their stream, but if for whatever reason you can’t or don’t want to access 10Play, they’re a handy backup.

If you’re a Kayo Sports subscriber, you’ll be able to access Racing.com’s coverage through your subscription.

Racing.com’s coverage will also be available through Foxtel, should you prefer to take full advantage of your existing pay-TV subscription. Racing.com is not, however, available on Foxtel GO or Foxtel Now.

Unlike in previous years, there is no longer an option to live stream the Melbourne Cup on Twitter.

While Sky Racing do have broadcasting rights for the Melbourne Cup, they have to show it on a delay, so you’re better off using another service for today.
