I am a big fan of both Libbok and Willemse. My only concern with the starting setup is no goal kicker, Willemse’s only flaw is his goal kicking, other than that he is a fantastic fly half and I rate him right up there with Pollard.

Eztebeth leads Boks, Willemse at 10 but Wallaby destroyer misses out altogether for All Blacks clash

This is to me the biggest reason the Wallabies went so poorly. Manie Libbok had so much time to make decisions, I did not see Quade or anyone else for that matter or him under any pressure at all.

REACTION: 'Best winger in the world' - 'Mind blowing' Marika's magic delivers Wallabies epic win over Springboks

Totally thought Koribete was in trouble at first look. I was surprised they did not bother to review it. Not having a go at the tackle (was great effort), it’s just that the laws get applied so inconsistently these days…

Pablo Matera’s experience with the Crusaders would have paid off a lot here I think. Combined with Cheika on a roll, a fantastic kiwi defence coach (for Argentina) and an AB team struggling to find combinations and consistency, the result almost seems to make sense. Was unexpected all the same, really interesting RC remains…

CHEIK MATE! 'Do it all the time' - coach fires back after Foster breakdown whinge as Pumas celebrate historic win

So true, maybe NZ don’t need it as badly as Aus right now, but eventually they will… It could potentially lead to more competitive contracts vs going to Japan / Europe and so better player retention. This can only be a positive, I really hope this happens…

Re your comment about where these boys are earning their millions: Get rid of the Giteau law I say. Might not be lots of great overseas players to make Wallabies right now, but in long run it will surely help and the Wallabies need all the help they can get right now…

Springboks team: Faf returns to No.9 as South Africa make two changes for Wallabies clash

Same! Really hoping Frans stays fit and makes it to another RWC. He has faced much adversity in his life and is a quality player, totally deserves a shot at the record.

Springboks team: Faf returns to No.9 as South Africa make two changes for Wallabies clash

To me, Frans Steyn is still pure class, I am a big fan of him. He brings a lot of experience and although he might have slowed slightly he is still very strong in contact. His kicking is also still fantastic. Happy to see him in the squad and I hope he stays fit and makes it to next years RWC…

I’m really not having a go at Foley, I thought he was the best flyhalf Australia could muster at the time, back in the day that is. And I hope he does well in return as well. I’m just asking whether selecting him, vs choosing new and young blood is justified?

'He's devastated': Everything Dave Rennie said about brutal JOC axing, Foley return, what next for Noah and 'grumpy' Boks

Wonder if the lack of travel over past 2 years is playing a part? How will the EOY tour shape up if this is the result of a (relatively) short trip to Argentina..?

Rugby News: Wallabies' coach out after record loss to Argentina, Springboks held up, Olympic sevens star retires

JOC had some really good moments with the Reds before he got injured. I admit he had been poor for Wallabies but I wonder if he and Mcdermott were played together if that could have helped his game.

'He's devastated': Everything Dave Rennie said about brutal JOC axing, Foley return, what next for Noah and 'grumpy' Boks

Rennie talks about earning your right to play for the Wallabies: When did Foley earn the right to come back? Not having a go… It’s an honest question, has he been playing well/ bad? I’ve not been watching too much overseas comps, has Foley been experiencing some kind of renaissance that we don’t know about? They mention a suspension for Foley, what was that all about? I still can’t believe Beale’s name is being thrown around, you can’t be serious?!

I would have thought expectations would be high regardless of the timing 😁
I suppose what I’m trying to say is that perhaps this might work out in Razor’s favour: He just needs to wait another year and he will get a “fresh start”… Gives him time to hand over to someone else at Crusaders…

Foster SURVIVES as NZR hails 'magnificent' win over Springboks and declares it's 'a new dawn'

It really looks like some of the Boks are struggling fitness wise… In both games the boys were sucking some deep breaths, hands on knees within the first 30…

Foster SURVIVES as NZR hails 'magnificent' win over Springboks and declares it's 'a new dawn'

I would love to know whether Robertson would actually have been willing to accept the position if it was offered to him today, 2 games into the RC, 1 year out from the ’23 RWC? Was it ever a realistic option?
For what its worth, I still believe the RC result will end up with All Blacks 1st, Springboks 2nd, Pumas 3rd and Wallabies 4th

I ended up turning down the audio while watching the Springbok game. The commentary brought back memories of Kafer and Kearns…
