“Bart gets to ride up front today because he’s a good guy at sports” - fan of anything and everything there is to do with sports. Main loves are the NBA, NFL, NRL and of course Rugby. From New Zealand so have a tall poppy perspective on everything and a bit of an underdog complex as well. Trying to provide a mix of humour and insight in everything I do.

Cheers The Barry, my thoughts exactly. Its a bit of a fun thought exercise to see who would cross-over well. I thought about making a Married at First Sight 1st XV but settled on League players!
My NRL first XV to take on union in a crossover game
Someone got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning. Meant to be a bit of fun loosehead, sorry for interrupting what must be a fun day ahead!
My NRL first XV to take on union in a crossover game
Remember we are supposed to pretend that the union specific skills don’t matter! 🙂 🙂 But I agree, the scrum would be the main area that this team gets demolished in. I was surprised when writing this the difference also in weight between the union and league players. Papalii looks like a massive bopper on the league field but hes only 110kg compared to the majority of props being up in the 120s in Union.

As a early 30s Doggies fan my face for them is Libba, can’t argue with Whitten overall but god it was great to see Libba running around in the late 90s. 97/98 pre-Lims still break my heart!
Who is the all-time face of each AFL club?
Lots of road teams looking good this week has my wallet feeling a lot lighter! Hoping the big boys continue to dominate. Tips for me this weekend are Storm, Knights, Titans, Panthers, Rabbits, Cowboys, Roosters, Raiders. Upset I like the most is either the Broncos or the Sharks.
The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 2
Definitely up there for me. Has a great batting style and seems like good bloke. Hope him and the blackcaps can continue their great form!
The ODI career of Tom Latham so far
You’re welcome Snowy. I thought there was a really strong 20 minutes after the half there that gives you guys lots to build on. Best of luck!
NRL Round 1 power rankings
Going to be interesting Jimmy if they can start converting those chances. Their defense looked solid!
NRL Round 1 power rankings
Agreed Albo, I thought they looked good and looked dominant defensively. They struggled a bit on the Cowboys line but that could easily have been different! Good signs to begin the season for them.
NRL Round 1 power rankings
One can only hope. So often we hear this is our year! Most optimistic supporters after a round 1 win.
NRL Round 1 power rankings
I think previous form and last season performance have them up there. Will be interesting to see how they go against a quality team.
NRL Round 1 power rankings
Only week 1. I’m not going to overreact to the table yet. Basing the rankings off performance and previous ranking in my power rankings.
NRL Round 1 power rankings
Sorry I’m not sure what you mean. Had them at 12 last week and they have jumped up to 10th: potential for higher if they continue to perform
NRL Round 1 power rankings
Planning on doing these rankings weekly so should help me keep my finger on the pulse!
NRL Round 1 power rankings
Cheers Dutski, yea I was cautious to move too drastically from my pre season rankings especially for teams like the Sea Eagles who I don’t think are the worst in the competition but certainly looked it against the Roosters. Whoops on the Cody Walker mistake, watched far too much league over the weekend!
NRL Round 1 power rankings
Not a manly supporter! A longtime suffering Warriors fan. Giving them a bit of a benefit of the doubt as think the Roosters are the best in the competition. Will see how they got this week, could easily slide all the way down!

Leagues back Loosey! The Ribenas are flowing. Enjoy 🙂
All Black everything: My favourite All Blacks of the professional era
Sorry Loosey! Just so much to celebrate. I’m sure if you did a my favourite wallabies article you wouldn’t struggle to fill 10 spots. Well maybe you would but you could get a top 5!!
All Black everything: My favourite All Blacks of the professional era
Thanks Big Red! Hope you enjoyed, always great to open the debate! With so many great players it’s always going to be an argument
All Black everything: My favourite All Blacks of the professional era
Yea Bender did have it all I agree. I still think Cullen’s best game would beat Smith’s. Matt Burke, he is a bit beautiful, have to agree!
All Black everything: My favourite All Blacks of the professional era
Sounds incredible! Gotta love a fiery redhead!
All Black everything: My favourite All Blacks of the professional era
Cheers Waxhead – as mentioned, these are my favourite rather than the best! A Smith is definitely a better halfback over TJ, however I love to watch TJ play more than Smith. Joe was electric on his day and just a joy to watch, not the best we’ve had but definitely up there. I think with Clarke for me, its the potential and the intensity he plays with. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders and wants to succeed. We shall see!
All Black everything: My favourite All Blacks of the professional era
Nice! Yes definitely before my time but sounds like a champ. I definitely think Conrad was wildly underrated.
All Black everything: My favourite All Blacks of the professional era
Definitely, Lock and Prop of course were the hardest positions for me to find. The speed of League these days means most Props don’t rock around at above 120 kegs these days.
