My choice would be Messenger & Coote, but they will go with Mal, but it will be a joke if Lockyer gets it as he has not been out of the game long enough.
I won’t be watching as I believe that dropping Jones, Buzz, Prentice & Hadley & not informing them is a low act, maybe a bit of age discrimination but remember Prentice is the father of the Immortals concept & I don’t blame him for being hurt by the actions of Greenberg.

Dont forget Bennett din’t set the world on fire in his first year at the Dragons, but I have watched their new signing Gagai with Redcliffe & if you watch the game they played with Tweed heads who had 7 NRL players in their team, you will see how good he is, unfortunatly Boyd is the fullback but he will go good in the centres & certainly add some spark into their attack.

Yor kidding me, the commentary on the Souths – Broncos game in Perth with Hadley, Lewis & Lockyer was so one sided towards the Broncos it became a pain in the arse.

Man of the match Myles, hell no Matt Chechhin won that easily, he should never have been refereeing in the NRL after he he was dropped in his initial season after cruelling South Sydney, after he penalized Bird for the tackle, I watched 3 QLDers pick up a NSW player and backslam him into the ground, exactly the same tackle, I would also take a bet that if Inglis’s try incident had been in the field of play it would have been a knock on.
The feet rule was brought in for dangerous play, not something as innocuous as this incident, the laugh that QLD has benefited from a rule that was brought for Billy Slater’s use of the feet, has benefited QLD, still it would be interesting to read the rule and get 10 lawyers to give an opinion.

Well in Qld we would watch the Q Cup on Saturday arvo, but this year the QRL paid Channel 9 to televise the Q Cup on Sundays at 2pm & now AFL have free rein.
What happened to Saturday afternoon NRL?
I would like to nominate myself as an Independant Commissioner, I am a Rabbitoh member, my son plays for Redcliffe, I have no political connections, I hate News LTD for what they did to Souths, my attitude is that if a player wants to earn more money in another code, let them go, if a player brings the game into disrepute, get rid of them, in fact I consider myself perfect for the job.

I would not want to be an NRL player in PNG when they have the elections, they cant control the people, I was there in the middle of the football riots when Papua played New Guinea the last time, the higlanders vs the Papuans, this is what would happen if their NRL team were beaten.

It is time the Union reduced the penalty goal to 2 points, the week before last the 4 Nations final between the Kanagaroos & England produced 11 tries in 80 minutes, 4 Union games in the Northern Hemishere produced 4 tries in 320 minutes, the Union boasted about the crowds at their games and compared them to the League, all I can say is I feel sorry for the Union spectators in that hemisphere, in Australia this year the Union crowds were down, so discourage the penalty & encourage the try as well get rid of those pedantic referees & blind linesmen.
