I think the refereeing will have a big outcome on the result, as we saw on the weekend, the ethos of letting the game flow was significantly different from Fridays game to the rest of the weekend & played into the Storms slowing down of the play the ball.

Don’t just talk about NRL contracted players, both teams have players who could have played NRL if given the chance, one player who will have a big bearing on this game is the East hooker, Tommy Butterfield, his service from dummy half is first class as he makes sure he runs his forwards & supplies quality ball to his halves, plus he locks up the middle with his defence.
This will be a quality Grand Final, it’s just a pity that Ch9 have said that if it goes into extra time, they will move it to Gem, thereby stuffing up everyone who has recorded the game.
