Bath don’t need to buy players from abroad. They’ve got plenty of quality players coming through their academy.

England rugby cop it after Burgess switches back

Actually, if you go by recent u20’s success, England are doing better when it comes to producing talent. Considering that England have won back to back Junior World Champions in the past three years and came up short in this years final.

Magnificent All Blacks beat Wallabies to win back-to-back Rugby World Cups

What about Pocock as the third choice hooker? If Australia ever want to rest Moore, they could start TPN at Hooker, put David Pocock in at 8 and then once it reaches the 60 minutes mark take TPN off, put David Pocock in at Hooker and replace him with Palu at 8. He could potentially be Australia’s Bismarck Du Plessis!

Wallabies World Cup squad announced: Horwill misses out

That wasn’t England though, it was the British and Irish Lions and I think your the only one here that thinks Mako Vunipola was dominated. In the past 10 years Australia, regardless of your perception of it have never once dominated England in the scrum.

SPIRO: Wallabies show potential, but can they win at Eden Park?

Why are you judging a players scrummaging ability, just because of his scrummaging performance during one particular game that happened over two years ago. Mako Vunipola has improved massively during scrum time over the past two years and he is one of the best scrummaging looseheads in the Aviva Premiership. Besides Mako Vunipola isn’t even England’s starting loosehead, Joe Marler is and last time I saw Joe Marler play against Australia he Dominated them in the scrums.

SPIRO: Wallabies show potential, but can they win at Eden Park?

I’m not saying that England don’t use illegal tactics sometimes, but what I would say is that sometimes you may have to use illegal tactics to gain superiority over an opponent. Do you think if Richie Mccaw didn’t use some illegal tactics from time to time he would be anywhere near the player that he is (was). It’s not about if a player does something illegal, it’s about if they get caught or not doing it and also being smart enough to get away with it.

SPIRO: Wallabies show potential, but can they win at Eden Park?

Australia will never have a dominant scrum against England. The most that they could hope for is if they get parity, and even that’s a big IF!

SPIRO: Wallabies show potential, but can they win at Eden Park?

How did you come to the conclusion that Charlie Faumuina is better then Joe Marler?

Rugby's Top 100: 60-51

What about Manchester?

The Roar's guide to (some of) the host cities of the Rugby World Cup

I’d also put England’s, Courtney Lawes in that bracket.

Rob Simmons to miss Wallabies' next two matches

I suspect that it will most likely be Aaron Jarvis who starts at tighthead for Wales. The back up tighthead will probably be Tomas Francis, who is a rookie at test level and not a regular player for his club (Exeter). He is also English born, but qualifies through a Welsh grandmother.

An amateur preview of the RWC 2015 (Part I)

Even though I’m not a Springbok fan, I like the idea of Steven Kitsoff, Malcom Marx and Vincent Koch in the front row after the World Cup. In my opinion that would be the best scrummaging front row in the Southern Hemisphere and would even rival England’s front row. On Thomas Du Toit, I think even though he’s younger, he’s very much in the same position as Conie Oostustion (no pun intended) and as we saw in the JWC semi final with England this year, he struggled against a good Loosehead and it is for this reason I think it will take him at least another three year to fully get to grips with the position of Tighthead.

Wallabies vs Springboks: Rugby Championship preview

This is a question for South Africa fans. Obviously Jannie Du Plessis is past his best and will probably be replaced after the World Cup. Who do you think will be South Africa’s Tighthead after the World Cup? I personally think it will be a battle between Frans Malherbe and Marcel Van Der Merwe.

Is this top 100 on current form?

Rugby's Top 100: 80-91

It’s just been announced that the 2016 Junior World Championship will be held in Salford and Manchester (north west England). I know it doesn’t really matter, but it’s where I’m from, so I’m quite excited.

100 days to go: World Cup countdown begins

There seems to be a lot of Fijians in England popping up on the rugby scene, this is mainly because of some Fijians choosing to fight for the British Army and living and staying here and also having children here as well,

Big wings and big dreams for Fijian rugby

Harry, which players were you impressed with from the semi final between England and South Africa? Also who do you think will win the final?

100 days to go: World Cup countdown begins

I was very surprised with the U20 result between England and South Africa, I expected England to get beaten and beaten well, especially upfront, but they managed to win and win Convincingly, which is very pleasing to hear, considering that South Africa had a massive pack and were the form team of the championship going into the semi finals. I was very impressed with the performances of Ellis Genge, Paul Hill, Jack Walker, Will Witty, Charlie Ewels and James Chisholm, who look certainties to be part of the England setup in the coming years.

100 days to go: World Cup countdown begins

Actually if England beat France then they’ll be the first to qualify and if they do qualify, they will face the best runner up, which will most likely be either Australia or Ireland.

Australia versus South Africa: U-20 Rugby World Cup preview

Harry, Out of South Africa, New Zealand and England, who do you think will win the Junior World Championship?
My bet’s on England to retain and win it for a third time running due to having a combination of a massive pack and a very good set of backs.

I don’t think any sportstars were born in 1997!

How productive is your birth year in sport?

Semesa Rokoduguni

RATH: "Who’s the best player you played with?"

Well if we use your logic, teams like the Chiefs and Samoa should have the best scrums in the world.

Select for size must be the Wallabies' World Cup scrum mantra

I think the Semesa Rokoduguni example is totally unfair because he’s served in the British Army for over five years and has been to Afghanistan twice.

The incredible spread of Pacific Island talent

It’s not about benefitting league or their players Bakkies, it’s about giving the team the best chance of winning by playing the best players at their disposal, regardless if they play rugby union or rugby league.
