Pretty dissapointing comments from Tallis considering he once wore the Broncos jersey himself although after his falling out with Bennett he hasn’t been a fan of the Broncos for the last few seasons. Blair and Boyd have been the two players who have turned the Broncos into a consistent team that you know will be competitive each week. I’d guarantee that fellow Broncos players love having Blair in their side. All this has done is shown the inconstancy of the match review committee in that you can elbow a defenseless guy in the head and not receive a thing but if you ‘grab’ a guy’s arm then you will miss a week.

I would strongly recommend the author watch that YouTube clip also. if you are going to write an article about how bad someone is atleast back it up with something other than personal dislike.
The myth of Darius Boyd
Went to the Broncos v souths game the other night Tim and just wanted to know have you ever the seen the guy in the suit on the souths bench that relays all of the coaches orders to the trainer? I know you have a gripe with Langer being on the field but this display of instructions being passed on was very impressive.
Can anyone actually challenge the Broncos and Cowboys in 2016?
Do you honestly think that was worth a charge? I would argue none of the ‘touching’ ones deserved charges and it was good to see common sense prevail.
The aftermath to Trent Robinson's massive referee spray
What I don’t understand is how he is only sitting on six points when he has clearly been the Broncos best in 90% of games this season.
Anthony Milford will win the Dally M and thrill us in the process
Why would you include ‘their best two players’ if they haven’t played origin yet?
By my count the Broncos have nine origin/test players in their squad and that is being generous to include Reed and let’s not forget when Blair left the Tigers he wasn’t getting starts for NZ.
When the roosters get their injured players back they will have eight origin/test players in the starting lineup, the Cowboys, Sharks and manly have six and the list goes on.
Matt Gillett wants to stay a Bronco for life
Just out of curiosity, did anyone see the sneaky little head butt gallen did to start the push and shove towards the end of the game?
Highlights: Sharks edge Tigers in dramatic win
Just about everyone can see the benefit of reintroducing the five minute sin bin to punish illegal play (because ten minutes is too long for trivial offences) and yet Greenburg said it is off the table. Strong leadership can at times mean making unpopular decisions and I thought this would have been a good opportunity for Greenburg to stand up. If you don’t think it’s a good idea Todd tell us why, don’t just hide behind the rules committee. What worries me with Greenburg being in charge is that he says a lot without saying anything at all.
NRL won't see the five-minute sin bin make a comeback
So if the Cowboys had got up the other night Tim would you have written a similar article about Paul Bowman influencing the result? Whilst I appreciate the point you make Im unsure why this is constantly referred to as a Brisbane problem only considering every club does it. Would it be because Alf is a legend of the game so he is more noticeable? I found myself watching Ruben Wiki at the Warriors game the other week only for the simple fact I grew up watching him and am amazed that he still looks like he could lace on the boots without a worry. Another thing, if having Alf and Bowman on the field means we get to experience more games like we did on Friday night then I say bring it on.
Get Alfie off the damn footy field
As a qlder having access to a purpose built league stadium my opinion is probably moot BUT I have travelled to ANZ to watch numerous origins and last years gf and I am not surprised people don’t turn up to that stadium to watch a club game because the fasciities are ridiculous, the amenities are second rate and the viewing is atrocious. No matter where you sit you are too far away from the action thus creating a lackluster atmosphere. I’m all for the NRL trying to meet conditions as long as they spend the money wisely and I would suggest that would be better invested in the SFS.
My advice regarding the Sydney stadium strategy
Hilarious that you think Melbourne are the only team employing these tactics. They have been the most scutenised over the last 10 years which allows other teams to sneak through. Cronulla’s ‘tackling’ technique have taken things to a whole new level this year.

Why not just enter an indigenous side in the nines!? Each club has to give up a certain amount of players or face the risk of a fine.

Couldn’t agree more eaglejack. Not a fan of Pearce at all but the low life that filmed him and then ran to aca needs just as much help.

There must be some great players coming up if you have Morgan and Parker so high up the list.
NRL's top 50 player countdown: Part 2 (40-31)
Hindmarsh summed it up perfectly on the Matty johns show last night. There comes a time in every players career where they get a tap on the shoulder. Jason Taylor is the coach and he has made a decision to go in a different direction and who can blame him after the tigers performances over the last few years.

The only thing better than that Steve Jackson try was the commentary by Ian Maurice…”I didn’t think there was anyway he was going to make that, but he did! What strength, what power, what a grandfinal, what a premiership!!!”
When big blokes attack: Famous rampaging tries of rugby league
You know there is a serious problem when guys like Luke keary are running in to try and throw their ‘weight’ around. Several push and shoves in last nights game resulted in the refs stating that you don’t need to throw a punch to be binned and yet the very next time it happened (walker v linnet) the refs said exactly the same thing. Time to show some backbone and do something about it because it is embarrassing.
How about penalising players for acting like a goose?
Let’s hope you are right kris. Something tells me this circus from Sunday night has galvanized the Queenslanders even more so and they will be primed for a big one.
Why Queensland will win the Origin decider
This game reminds me of the third game of 2006 where mal put pressure on the likes of Lockyer, price and co to perform or else their origin careers would be over. The forward pack in particular have a lot of ground to make up and if we kick off then I would expect nothing less than a 5 man tackle to start proceedings.
Queensland Maroons team for 2015 State of Origin Game 3
I thought it was the best game I have seen smith play in ages. Whenever QLD were struggling he was the one getting them on the front foot or making a desperate tackle. Chambers and Cronk also had wonderful games but I thought smith controlled the ruck beautifully.

What has the team he plays for got to do with anything renegade? I highlighted the inconsistency of the match review committee in allowing gallen to escape charge. Quite rightly, Parkers incident should have been looked at as well but if all you want to do is just turn this into a Broncos bashing thread then good for you.
