O’Keefe has also been used as an opener in T20 matches so the stats are a bit skewed, but i think Lyon should play T20 as a spinner, thats how he was initially discovered.
Spin is the key to Australia's T20 future
Maybe Beer should move to another state. Agar is easily the first choice spinner.
Spin is the key to Australia's T20 future
I think at test level, batting allrounders are more useful, just because all you ever want from an allrounder is to a few overs to break partnerships and some steady pace. Him at 7 makes the batting a bit week. I think he is an awesome ODI no. 7 however.
Where does Faulkner fit in Test puzzle?
This should be a massive game. Going to give the tipsters headaches.
As a Port supporter I am extremely nervous (Adelaide will want revenge after throwing it away last season), but as an AFL fan i am looking forward to very tense and exciting game of footy
Fire up! It's Showdown week
One innings. Next time it will be drop Maxwell.
I told you Glenn Maxwell was something special
Unlikely it will get retracted.
Other teams are saying that they had sensor problems and they checked with the FIA but Red Bull did not.
Yes Dan did not run out of fuel, but that is not why he got disqualified, he used more fuel per hour then allowed and breached it by about 1.5%.
there have been many technical changes since last season, new gearbox, ERS, new front wing and new/ less engines.
Formula One tries its hand at farce
They should not have come out in the media this week. Bombers trying as hard as they can to get only good publicity in media for start of season. Focus should be on Fletcher breaking the club games record not Hird. They are quite selfish and I dont think anyone actually cares anymore.
James and company must be seen and not Hird
I think Shaun Marsh would be the ideal number three.
The only problem is he is just such a nervous starter. We have seen what he can do when everything is gong right, there are not too many players going around with more talent.
If he was more consistent and proven he would be there no doubt.
I like Doolan. I dont care if he is slow. Not everyone needs to play like Warner/ Sehwag.
Lets review Doolan in a years time, if he is still @ no. 3.
Please, get off Alex Doolan's back
Its like catches win matches.
Kicking wins matches.
Players just need to have a positive mindset.
Has goal kicking improved in the AFL?
Make ur mind up about Coulter-Nile. In and out of the team.
My Aussie team for the World T20 opener
A Liverpool win could give them some belief at a title. Results will have to go there way for them to get there though.

Good story. I think it is bad sign that you could only find five certainties. Shows the Socceroos are certainly going to find it tough throughout Brazil.
Which Socceroos are certain to start in Brazil?
What about Agar, two test wonder?
Pakistan will test Australia's spinning stocks in the UAE
Bring back Michael Beer……. hope they don’t select Doherty. O’Keefe is a far more potent spinner and can actually spin the ball.
O'Keefe must make Pakistan tour
He is the number one ranked all rounder in the world now…
Let's get real: is Vernon Philander overrated?
Still can’t get over the Faulkner partnership with McKay, was awesome.
Who was among the runs this summer?
He just struggles to start his innings. When he gets off to a start he gets big runs. Get the batting coach on that one.
Shaun Marsh is not a Test quality batsman
As much as i love basketball in Australia, most Aussie bball fans have NBA league pass and watch that rather than NBL. NBL is never live on TV either
Should the NBL move back to winter?
With no experienced test batsman, Dhoni will be captain of India for another 1-2 years. He may give up the ODI captaincy to Kohli after the world cup, but I cant see him giving it up any time soon. Young leaders rarely work out
Time to call stumps on Dhoni’s Test captaincy?
For everyone saying axe Rogers, remember he was the leading run scorer across the 10 Ashes tests.
Who should make way for Shane Watson?
Agree, he bowled well in T20 this year and has a good shield record for a young spinner.
Calm down about James Muirhead
Westhoff is used a swingman so you wouldn’t expect hi to boot 50-60 goals.
