I’ve never publicly urinated… not that I remember anyway…

Still, you need to accept that there’s a difference when you’re effectively paid hundreds of thousands a year by the fans. It seems to be more rife in NRL than any other Aussie code.

Are NRL players just taking the piss?

Yes, on a pitch where Nathan Lyon looked even less threatening.

It’s also great to know that ‘his chance’ included just a solitary Test. Ridiculous sentiment.

O'Keefe should have been picked for Adelaide

Woooh, calm down chief, I’m aware of that. Little bit of exaggeration to prove a point.

Also, the ABs are still drunkards. I’m not saying the wallabies aren’t just a point.

The three things that will save Michael Cheika - for now

Ronan, I think you’re allowing yourself to talk it up a bit on this one. Whilst all have been clocked in the early 150s, if I’m not mistaken they were in white ball cricket, and earlier in their career. All three have to dial their pace back substantially to be accurate, and bowl consistently around the high 130s. When they search for extra pace, all three tend to be rather wayward.

Not to mention, none are real exponents of reverse. Umesh is the only one who i’ve seen move it later in the innings, but he doesnt seem to have the right wrist movement to do it on a regular basis.

Pace is good in ODIs, but i dont think any of them have the accuracy and skill to trouble our more technically efficient batsmen.

India should use pace to unsettle Australia

I think he was hard done by on last year’s ashes, but other than that, no.

Can’t say I’m a fan of this piece given the timing.

Was Phil Hughes harshly treated by the selectors?

I must admit, I thought you’d lost your bloody marbles when I saw the headline. Love it thought. T20 is a farce internationally. I actually prefer watching the IPL to the T20 WC.

The only problem with the 4 day tests is fatigue. So many quicks are breaking down due to their unending search for an extra 10kph, It would be tough for a compliment to get through that much work in a day.

DIZZY: Scrap T20 internationals and trial four-day Tests

Find it hard to reconcile starc for sids. Siddle has done nothing to get himself dropped and has been our consistent bowler for the last five years. Hes the reason the other can be so incisive.

No Clarke but no surprises for the Gabba Test

With ref mics these days you usually hear what’s going on. Except if you’re watching in a pub.

Three rule changes the NRL should make for 2015

I hardly think sides will go ‘oh, we only give them another set as opposed to the yardage’ and look to wrestle more. The reason sides wrestle in the ruck is to give the D Line extra time to breath and get onside. If the play moves on quicker, it will actually tire out defensive teams who give away a lot of penalties.

I think the run around has been a very good part of current team structure. When you link that with dummy runners you cause even ore confusion.

He could have got his runs a little quicker…

Finch’s spot under pressure from White

I’ll agree that he’s a mediocre ground fielder, buy the best slip catcher we have in the country. Big buckets for hands!

Slave to averages.

Wouldn’t call him the best batsman, cause if you look at his scores most of his big ones have been at north Sydney oval, aka fisher price’s “my first cricket ground”.

But still I agree with you. Once he’s fit he should be back in Aussie colours. Hahaha of course, that said, I doubt the selectors will pick him. They like this ‘x factor’ concept.

Finch’s spot under pressure from White

Who’s saying that? Finch is a garbage first class player which is proven by the fact the Victorians rarely find a spot for him.

I see what you’re saying but you’re missing the point. warner and gillie were hyper aggressive from ball one, and played their natural game. Haydos and white tend to be a bit more steady from the beginning, getting themselves in before exploding.

There are no small hitters in modern limited overs.

Finch’s spot under pressure from White

Can’t exactly see how it would lead to more wrestling. No fan likes 50/50 calls making such a huge impact in the game. Not to mention, the Roosters would actually benefit as they have one of the fitter and more mobile forward packs.

Three rule changes the NRL should make for 2015

I see what you mean but if you don’t have dummy runners then you force teams to have flat attacking lines, and the only move is a cut out pass. The results would be dull, hit-up football.

Id love to see Uzzie in the green and gold, but lets see how he recovers from the shoulder injury first.

Haha and bugger off, hes a NSW blue at heart!

Finch’s spot under pressure from White

Come on. Haydos may have bludgeoned the ball, but he was quite a responsible bat. Especially compared to Gillie who used to slay sixes from ball one.

Finch’s spot under pressure from White

Yeah nice point. I guess that’s the beauty of White, he adds that flexibility because he can hit hard or graft an innings.

Cricinfo list Dilshan as an allrounder. Laughable.

Who are the genuine all-rounders in cricket?

Cant blame tahir. They took their foot of the Aussies throats at 5/144. Should have brought the field up and pressured the Aussies to hit out would have skittled them for 230.

So smith in for Clarke. Ib still think finch is under pressure at the top. White should replace him.

Have a look at the batting stats out of Ranji trophy. Plenty of deplorable batsmen with career averages in excess of 50. Pujara is the best example, and he failed miserably over there. And they really don’t do well in England. Last time they surprised the Brits to take the first, then got spanked in the next two.
