I think the statistical answer is that the Australian 11 is 2-0 up in the series, so the correct statistical set-up is the Australian one. Going with the Pommy set up is the sort of fake statistics that Marc Beckett fella would go with (you know – Jimmy Anderson best bowler in the world, Joe Root better than Steve Smith bla bla :-D)

Nah – fair article. Root and Anderson are the only two I would have in a “best of” team at the moment even not using stats.
