I think the opposite, Taylor shouldn’t commentate any Pies game as his bias is unbearable. One of the biggest cheer leaders and his excitement when the Pies do something goes through the roof.

Dear Brian Taylor: it's time to cut your anti-Collingwood bias out

Tribunal is a farce at this point. Hawks shouldn’t have wasted their time, Sicily was never getting cleared.
I enjoy Gaelic footy so l will be ok when the AFL makes it illegal for any contact.

AFL News: Sicily learns fate for dangerous tackle amid 'embarrassment to our game' debate over Giant's ban

Good write up. On Sicily, l don’t think he had any idea Mcluggage was knocked out.

Six Points: Sicily and Butler did nothing wrong, ridiculous Weightman pile-on, and calling out abysmal commentary

He is your typical keyboard warrior. Glad there are other nice people on here, we have our disagreements over footy but we are all passionate about our teams.
Won’t be engaging with him ever again, not worth my time or anybody else’s.

Nobody deserves what Nathan Buckley must be going through right now

I was just agreeing with what you said and l reported his comments.
I just sent a reply to you thanking you for your advice. He doesn’t know how to have a reasonable and rational discussion.
When he knows he is on the back foot he always goes personal. Should be banned from the site imo.

Also 12 months ago he was one of the so called journalists that said the Hawks should trade out Mitchell, O’Meara and Wingard.
He just wants to be right and has a vendetta against the Hawks because someone upset the poor chap.

I agree l don’t think they are tanking. I would be very disappointed if they were, a top pick is good but you need more than that to succeed.

He is pretty one demonsional, personally was happy the Hawks moved him on and it’s a fresh start for him.
He is slow and opposition players will hurt him in transition but my biggest problem was his disposal.
Nevertheless it was a good pick up for the Pies and adds another element to the side that can cover his weaknesses imo.
Hawks needed to move him on and are now getting games into the young mids which wouldn’t have happened this year if he and O’Meara were still there.
Win/win for both clubs in how they see their team makeup.

Tom Mitchell has had finals experience, 2016 Grand final for Sydney and two for Hawthorn plus has played in front of big crowds on Easter Monday.

Really happy for Ramsden, just getting some games into him this year will only benefit him.
I have high hopes on the kid but understand he is still very early in his development.
Not sure if you keep an eye on Box Hill but l hope to see O’Sullivan debut this year also.
Has shown a bit and might be that pressure forward we need.
Glad Sammy omitted a few of the young guys, make them earn their spot.

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

Good to see Ramsden and Weddle debuting this week, also happy to see Lewis, Day and Ward back.

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

Wow, l thought you would be loyal to the Hawks.
I couldn’t change sides personally. I would have a soft spot and hope they do well but that’s about it.
Game day would be totally different, they would be hated on that day lol

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

Off topic. A Tassie team enters the AFL, will you support them or the Hawks?
I am sure there might be a few Tasmanians changing teams.

Your probably right it could be in the contract, l personally just don’t think they mean anything when they are reading from a script.

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

Might not be great PR but nothing to apologise for.
I don’t see them as being that small minded to cut the Hawks sponsorship over this.
If they were offended than an apology by the numbers shouldn’t appease them.
One was his real thoughts, the second was what he was told to say by the club.

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

People have always got offended but aren’t we suppose to be more open as a society these days and accept people for who they are and how they choose to want to live?
It seems public apologies are the go to and everyone does it which actually diminishes the apology. I’m not just talking about this but every case a footballer apologises for is read from the same script and means nothing in most cases.
Years ago this wouldn’t have hardly been a mention in any media let alone apologising for it.

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

Not that much there for him personally. Some people are used to and love living in the big cities, people like me avoid them at all costs.
It’s his opinion, nothing to publicly apologise for, it’s getting out of hand.

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

I don’t know why he needs to apologise personally, yes Hawthorn play in Tassie and give a good sponsorship but all he said was that permanently living in Tassie is not for him and to him there is not much there.
I live in area that is over 4 hours away from any major city, l was asked recently why would l live in this area and he tried to belittle where l lived.
I didn’t take it personally,
I just responded by saying you are obviously a tourist visiting the area so there must be something to see. He said he lived in Melbourne and l said why would you want to live there because you wouldn’t catch me anywhere near there.
There are a lot people that will rush out and travel to another country before travelling in Australia. They have zero idea how beautiful and unique our country is.
We are becoming a fragile society where everyone has to apologise because someone gets offended way to easily.

AFL News: AFL reportedly makes CEO call, Sicily sorry for Tassie sledge as Wade fires back, Neale responds to 'flop' criticism

Just read up about him, currently likely to go late first early second so could be a handy pick up.
Will probably get a bit taller in the next year also.

I like the look of Jack O’Sullivan also, like a terrier running around. Has been having an impact as a pressure small forward so looks hopeful.
Forgot about the father/sons, if l remember correctly Mcabes son is one of them and he is a key tall.

I don’t think they will either, there are a couple of others that draft experts are high on also so should get a good pick up if the Hawks don’t finish last.

The highlights for me has definitely been the midfield including Reeves and Fergus.
Hopefully we see debuts for Ramsden, Weddle and Stephens soon. I know Ramsden is a long term project but he is really showing something for Box Hill and l think will be very important for our future.
I don’t think it would hurt giving him a crack for a game or two. Let him experience the highest level.
Hopefully we stick to what was said earlier this week in that we will be targeting a KPF, hoping they are looking at King and Tom De Koning to name a couple.
Not sure how they get Reid plus trade in a big tall because l don’t think they will give up the number 1 pick if they get it or have a future first in their backpocket.

Good list Charlie, well done.

While l have been very harsh on the Hawks the past couple of weeks l do agree with you. A lot better effort but still disappointed we couldn’t get over the line against the Giants and Crows.
Hopefully we don’t get a belting this week, it would be disheartening for the young kids after being so close.
A couple of wins will be really good for their confidence and morale going forward.

Not sure how it happens most weeks but your tips from the previous round again this week are wrong. Where’s your tip from the Giants/Hawks game?
Seems proof reading is a thing of the past in most online articles these days.
