Thanks for the feed Brent. I am at work but giving the refresh button a real work out.
Seems like solo is doing it alone for them

Fiji are beating Honduras 2 nil at the moment. Twenty minutes played.
Blatter soon to be gone, but hopefully never forgotten
What about Alice Springs?
Its in the middle of the country and the atmosphere at the Port v Melbourne game looked good. Or if St Kilda make it they could play at their home ground in Wellington.
Take the AFL grand final to the Adelaide Oval
I don’t think it was the dance itself that caused controversy. More the running towards opposition fans. It is rare in Australia Rules Football to see someone kick a goal and run to the boundary.
Does it offend you, yeah? Reaction to a dance highlights deeper issues
I think Epiquin’s point still stands. For significant government funding to go into a stadium there needs to be a genuine need for a stadium. Wanting a better fan experience or wanting a better atmosphere is never going to cut it.
Football's next decade is all about facilities
I think you will find that Nordster is an old fashion anarchist. Despite this being a sports website, very little of what he writes has anything to do with sport, it is all about pushing his far-right political views.
It's time Blatter's cronies developed a conscience
I think this is one of the problems.
When Adam Goodes took this young girl to task, there was a variety of views on the subject. My personal view was that Adam Goodes was within his rights to do what he did, that he is a leader within the community. I also know (having worked within the fields of education and literacy) that there was a very good chance that the young girl didn’t know what she was saying was hurtful. I then thought Adam handled himself well when he found out the age of the young girl.
That was my view, however there were other viewpoints put forward. Not everyone agreed that he handled the situation well. This should’ve been a good opportunity to have an open discussion, however what happened instead was that people who put forward those alternative viewpoints often had their posts deleted from forums, were shouted down and told they were ignorant or racist and felt they where not able to express themselves.
In my opinion, people felling as if they are unable to express themselves on this topic is one of things that has caused so much angst
Does the Adam Goodes drama expose a racist underbelly in Australia?

Glenn isn’t entitled to a view on FIFA corruption on the basis that he once drive 66 in a 60 zone.

I think Brisbane will probably go into the game favourites against Saints. Both teams have won two games but home ground advantage and two wins out of the last three should see Brisbane favoured for this one.
We for West Coast, the flat track bullies, they wont be able to beat a top side like Geelong, I wouldn’t think
We will wait and see.
2015 AFL season: Round 9 preview
Surprised by that comment.
The following games could go either way. I am not sure who to tip:
Collingwood versus North Melbourne
Western Bulldogs versus GWS Giants
Weagles versus Geelong
Richmond versus Essendon
Brisbane versus St Kilda
I also wouldn’t rule out Melbourne considering the way Port are playing
Hawthorn Sydney should win. Fremantle probably.

McLaren to me is the disappointing one. He should have played more last year and now he looks lost to another club. What a debacle.

Dean Laidley or is there someone else do you think?

Western Australia and Sydney could dominate AFL finals in 2015
Good post Punter,
When you look it at like that it isn’t so bad
Gallop faces a tenure-defining six months as FFA chief executive
To be honest I love the game and wouldn’t change the way it is played. The only thing would introduce is a mandatory 5-minutes off the pitch for anyone who stops the game for injury.
1) It gives enough time for the medical staff to make sure they are okay
2) It would stop some of the play acting.
Perhaps an independent time keeper, again to stop time-wasting.
If you were a football dictator, how would you change the game?
Anyone else noticed Figo using the S word in his statement.
Prince Ali left alone to challenge Blatter in FIFA president stoush
Great article Janek.
Certainly challenging times ahead for Gallop and the FFA. I think we can suspend all talk of expansion and salary cap increases for now. Wellington surely have to be guaranteed a new licence now.

If you can work out what this means you are doing better than me
“-And with my qualifying the 2nd leg I meant teams ranked 67-128, then last 32 from that, join the top 64 in a 96-team quaifier seeded groups, and the top 64 from those groups go through eg top 2 from each of the (24-groups) then top 16 3rd placers.”
If you were a football dictator, how would you change the game?
16 groups of 13.
Top eight make it through to the round of 128…

Barbarouses is a terrific player Timmuh. I have no doubt he would attract interest from a variety of clubs in Australia and overseas. He is still quite young as well. I think he did go to Europe for a few years after leaving the Roar.
A-League grand finalists set to be dismantled
It is getting some really mixed reviews. A mix of bad and terrible.
