Finally!

Even when staring death in the face this person is still so narcissistic that he won’t just do the honourable thing… and resign. Shameful. A pox on your house!

The joy of Rugby World Cup celebrations only ruined by Eddie Jones’ final act

Bravo Macca, bravo… and how disturbing, that during what was probably the best RWC ever, we, here, in Aussie, got to point we were hoping we didn’t hear anything at all relating to our beloved Wallaby.

In fact, could say, we were often too happy just to put fingers in our ears while humming a bar of Kumbaya, so as not distract from the delights of the RWC as it was being played out in latter stages… all because of some other self-indulgent shyte storm that was being played out in a parallel universe of it’s own making. And what an absolute toss that is!?

Hamish… you have brought shame, like no other ever has onto the Wallaby. You have made us a laughing stock on the Aussie sporting landscape, and a worrying of serious concern for all our fellow rugby brothers and sisters through-out the world.

You sir are a scoundrel… and therefore must go. Immediately!

Never was a halfpenny better spent… farewell Leigh and thanks for the job. Fair to say, one of the great big little men of rugby. All the best! 👍 🏉 😊

You’re not the only one, Khun… was talking to my father and asked about Despatch… he who had grown up in the area; Port Alfred down to Port Elizabeth… he had no idea 😱

I’m going for the impregnable darkness… and as I said, here, before it all began that I thought they were building something special… regardless of coaching issues.

So I’m sticking with that for no other reason… but really just want a cracker. And a deserved winner. 👍

Good luck, Jonty… hoping it’s an epic clash. And who wins are deserved 👍

Thanks Harry… and, gotta say, the deeper we’ve all gone into the tournament, the deeper you’ve gone. And, we the unwashed, are most definitely the better for it. Well done… as this latest essay is superb. Enriching. Timely.

What delightful insight into these two men who are now plotting each other’s teams down fall for what should be an epic clash between historical foes for the chocolates. All the chocolates. The all important chocolates.

And their individual personal machinations to ensure their team actually wins all the chocolates!

Funnily enough, while reading your essay, I was reminded of an essay I wrote, here, almost to the day, four (4) years ago about the 2019 RWC Final… and who to root for?

My premise was pretty similar to now (who to root for?) while considering my somewhat unusual ‘bitza’ ancestry… and later marriage. I didn’t realise how close Despatch was to Port Elizabeth, an area deep in my heart, the area where Rassie was born and raised. Small world eh?!

Good luck to you and yours on the w’end… and I think we’re all in for something special regardless of outcome. 👍 🏉 😊

Really? I would’ve thought wet conditions might be better for your Black… but I do note your ‘grinding’ thingy 👍

Regardless, this game is soooo hard to pick! 😁

Did England's tactics against the Boks give New Zealand the blueprint for World Cup final victory?

Thanks Macca maaaate…. I wonder whether if the weather will determine the tactics, or whether the weather will matter. Weather. Whether. Who wins? 😂

Did England's tactics against the Boks give New Zealand the blueprint for World Cup final victory?

Bonjour G… noicely set table; one that was well wrapped and deservingly presented.

Gotta say, especially coming from this old bird, this 2023 RWC is the best evaaaaaa! And that’s coming from a rugby supporter whose got no skin in the game. Mind you, regardless of this anomaly, I’ve had ‘chicken skin’ on numerous occasions. How good is that?!

I think we have a final that most purists thought might be achievable for the two teams that have successfully made it there. This is no slight on Ireland or France who are right up there… but this is tournament rugby. It’s a completely different animal to anything else… and that’s what makes it so intriguing. Compelling. A rugby feast.

So who’s gonna be the alpha dog… the last big boy standing?

Tbh I’ve got no idea. But as I’ve mentioned a few times here before the tournament started… I thought the Black were building something special. Going to peak at the right time… especially once they had sorted their differences around their coaching issues. And that they have done… regardless of me old mate Tragic’s thoughts. 😂

For mine the almighty ABs to win on a wet night in Paris against the proud Bok by enough… not by plenty though.

But if they don’t… who gives a rats (Harry surely does) as I haven’t got any real skin in the game. Only mates who care… desperately care. I just want another edge of your seat game and who wins, wins. The best of luck to both teams! 👍 🏉 😊
