When Stokes says he’s not complaining, he’s whinging!!!
See my write up from 2020 “The case for neutral umpires is clearer than ever” where the Windies were the victims of no less than 12 upires call decisions against them which they overturned. This was just the two test!!!
Upires call is a joke which allows umpires to be wrong/biased/not good enough.

Welcome to the club.
I doubt Warner will “spill the beans” any day yet. He’s still playing and no doubt thinking of his future as a commentator. You are correct that you can’t rock the boat if you want to be part of the club. Everything has to be vanilla (and boring for that matter) Amazing how quickly people have forgotten his actions probably due to his media people. I guess he is going to keep it for a book !
The brotherhood: Why Warner will be forever silent about Sandpapergate
To all the hatters who said i didn’t reply well, I’m waiting for your replies now to the research and articles uploaded yesterday about Aussie umprires and Australians from the 1970’s
Pat Cummins isn't Dennis Lillee's fast-bowling equal - he's actually much better
Total meesed up Australian cricket with ageing players. despite winning everything they haven’t got a young bater to speak off. Where’s the next great young hope like G Chappell, AB, Kim Hughes and Phil and more recently Michael Clark? Dry cupboard it seems.

Wrong on all assumption. See above that “Cummins doesn’t put the fear into batters” that Lillee did.
If an all-time greatest Australia was playing an all-time greatest India in Dubai or India would Lillee be in the team? No way whereas Cummins is the first name down as captain.

What you mean he was your favourite bowler! I don’t have a problem with that.
I raised the numbers of Voges when i wrote about Pollock last year. Check it out

Check Lillee’s record against WI and PAK who were the best teams at the time and Cummins against all comers now particularly IND who are best batting team for the last 10+ years.
Lillee go most of his wickets against ENG where as Cummins has an even spread home/away.
Pat Cummins isn't Dennis Lillee's fast-bowling equal - he's actually much better
We can compare Lillee’s record against the strongest teams then, WI and PAK. he averaged 30.43 against PAK and 27.74 against WI. These were all home tests in Australia.
Compare this to Cummins far superior wickets per test and lower average against the current best batting team IND, both home and away.
Actually Cummins record is much more balanced and even against all countries home/away whereas Lillee’s record is basically against ENG when weak in 1981 (Alderman still got more wickets) and 1074/75 when Tommo had scared the life out of them.
Pat Cummins isn't Dennis Lillee's fast-bowling equal - he's actually much better
No one is saying he wasn’t a great bowler but the idea was to show that Cummins is better than Lillee at this stage given his strike rate, average and being captain on top with all that he won in 2023. Plus he’s seems a good bloke who put his country first and not off to WSC like Lillee. Remember too that Lillee took his wicket in pre helmet days so batters were not always sure of their safety. Cummins doesn’t instill the same fear in batters for sure. But that makes his success even more impressive.

Absolute rubbish to be negative about Northeast’s scores. What were the attacks like when Ponsford got his big scores or others before the WWII for that matter. It was very different game then. SA were pretty rubbish is all departments but no one denigrates Lohman and Barnes for getting cheap wickets against them. Australian test bowling in the mid to late 1960s was pretty rubbish apart from McKenzie yet no one raises that when Pollock was plundering no hopers for 200+ Northeast has deserved to play test cricket for 10 years on numbers alone but much like James Hildreth (Somerset) its a mystery why he didn’t. He got the background for it too Harrow, Cambridge, Kent & Hampshire before his move to Glamorgan.
