Great game and the AB’s had to work hard for this one, although they still managed to score 38 points. Thought both teams played really well actually and enjoyable game to watch. The AB’s played a patient game and held their passes ie there were very few offloads in the tackle but paid off in the end.

…and the kicker will be?

Big names benched for Wallabies side to play Italy

The Wallabies have been Italy’s bogey team of late.

Wallabies' midweek debacle under microscope

Would the Wallabies actually do better without a coach? Hard to believe they are the number 2 ranked team in the world based on current form.

Wallabies in tatters after being Munstered in Limerick

Just a thought (http://www.theroar.com.au/2010/06/10/move-over-cooper-here-comes-beale/).

Axe hangs heavy over tackle-shy Cooper

Also, what is Deans beef with Turner? Said it months ago, but to be fair, to be frank, would have had Turner on the LW and Mitchell on the RW.

Memo Deans: give other Wallabies a go!

Why would the 3 wise men select Donald over Slade? That wasn’t a wise move and has inadvertently, made the gap a little wider between Carter and the rest.

Memo Deans: give other Wallabies a go!

Have to admit, SBW has gone about it the right way by not trying to over play his hand.

I think one of the reasons why the All Black team appears to be getting better is because they got rid of the ‘rotation’ policy.

NZ media crown SBW "the next Lomu"

Jonah Lomu was a number 8 that played on the wing.

Yeah, but at least Wilson could kick a ball if necessary.

NZ media crown SBW "the next Lomu"

Sorry, still not sold. Great athlete and has that star quality Lomu had but not necessarily a good thing for the team. Too much of an individual and is better suited to league. Once coaches/players adapt to his off loads, then what?

How quickly ppl forget that he bailed when things weren’t going his way and I’m sure there was more too it than that but still a question mark.. Some would argue that fortune favors the brave and he deserves his success but how committed is he really? Just seems way to into it for himself. What SBW wants, SBW gets. Should have been a boxer. He will enjoy the dream run, take all the accolades and them take off after the WC.

Give me a Dan Carter, Conrad Smith, Richie McCaw etc anyday.

Add Andrew ‘turnstyle’ Merhtens to that list…

England teach Wallabies a rugby lesson at Twickenham

To be fair, to be frank, Dingo should have had the hay bales out for post match tackling practice.

Hate to say it but the comparison between Cooper and Spencer is uncanny, both on and off the field. Cooper will stand out in high tempo games and/or when his side has momentum but struggles when the heat is turned up a little. Also, struggles with the fundamentals and lacks consistency.

Outcoached, outplayed and out enthused.

Mealamu was reckless and Botha’s was deliberate. Mealamu has impeccable record and Botha does not. Still, 4 weeks seems fair. Tony Woodcock should have been yellow carded for charging into back of Saia Faingaa during the TN but that’s about it.

However, have noticed that Richie McCaw has been uncharistically irritated of late. Pressure getting to him a little perhaps? He wasn’t his normal self against Wallabies in HK test match and thought his post match speech reflected this. He has also reacted and spoke out against Hartley, when normally he would have let it slide. Still, might be nit picking, considering his success.

The All Blacks deserve special treatment

The Wallabies needed a break and they got it when Stephen Donald came on. Richie was clearly not happy with him but stopped short of blaming him. Colin Slade should have been there.

Some fleet footed rabbits in this Wallaby team and made some of the AB’s look a bit pedestrian at times. Not sure about Isaia Toeava either.

Not the end of the world for the AB’s but will be a wake up call.

O'Connor kicks Wallabies home in Honkers

Mmmm…..not ideal ground conditions would be an understatement.

Agree.

Presenting the 2010 Tri Nations awards

Personally, I think the Wallabies have the most exciting backlines going around and it’s been rare that we have seen this much talent in 1 backline. However, I still don’t think it is being managed effectively. If the Wallabies could gain parity in the forwards and have it’s backline working in unison they would perhaps win a few more.

The current Wallaby backline reminds me of the Harlem Globetrotters. They look good at the time but often the net result is the same. Their ability needs to be managed, harnessed and channelled much more effectively before they can consider themselves world beaters.

‘The worlds greatest team with their name on the world cup once!!!’ – And your point is?

Wallabies suffer heartbreak against All Blacks

The AB’s rock. They wrapped up the Tri Nations and Bledisloe Cup weeks ago and were playing for pride only. They still managed to win even though their preparation was disrupted (earthquake), were playing in front of 70,000 plus screaming fans, hadn’t played for 3 weeks and started without several key players.

Sorry, but 10 straight losses from the Wallabies to the AB’s is pretty ordinary in anyone’s books. All this talk of players coming back for the Wallabies is clutching at straws. Are you assuming that none of the current players will be injured? Injuries are inevitiable and are not the reason for the Wallabies losing. Time to face facts and stop using the WC to mask the current problems.

The Wallabies were incredibly lucky to win last week and have only won 1 game convincingly is this year’s Tri Nations. But like Mr Deans keeps telling us, ‘we are not that far away, we are getting closer, we are improving all the time…blah, blah’

Wallabies suffer heartbreak against All Blacks

Don’t believe there is daylight behind Carter…Cruden is but not Slade.

Wallabies suffer heartbreak against All Blacks

Great win for the AB’s…touch of deja vu about it. Aaron Cruden and Victor Vito showed glimpses but jury still out. Colin Slade looked every bit of an All Black and made a difference when he came on. Graham Henry made subs at just the right time.
