7/10. That's my score for Ewen McKenzie in his first year as coach of the Wallabies. This may seem quite generous for a coach…
By all accounts, Bledisloe three was a cracking game. Fast, free-flowing rugby from two of the world's top rugby nations (cue the claims Australia…

Wallabies are World Cup favourites: Waugh

I read somewhere that Gits is also suffering a bit of an injury… I’m not sure Toomua is the ideal man to be outside Foley so I suspect Cheika may go with Cooper/Toomua for this one and leave Gits on the bench… Beale to fullback if Folau isn’t 100%.
What has it come to? An Englishman supporting the Aussies
I’d stfu CP… one game doesn’t make us world beaters just yet….
Michael Hooper lucky to be suspended for just one week
Haha…. you just want SA v Australia QF so that the winner will be knackered and easier to beat in the SF… I smell fear… can’t believe “Bazza Allblack Supporter” is afraid of facing a relatively fresh Wallabies in the final!
Michael Hooper lucky to be suspended for just one week
I’d be looking to give Hooper a rest against Wales and play McMahon and Pocock in tandem…. give Poey a rest against Scotland…
SPIRO: Are the All Blacks and Ireland hiding their best stuff?
We’d need to be a good 20+ points ahead to be “comfortable” against Wales, look what happened to England…
SPIRO: Are the All Blacks and Ireland hiding their best stuff?
I bet you thought that after we knocked then over in Sydney as well? Let’s not get carried away, it was a great performance, but still a long way to go…
Five talking points from the Wallabies' win over England
I don’t think he should be fired if he loses the next two, but there should definitely be an independent selector enforced on him…. a number of guys in the starting XV wouldn’t have made the squad if we had an independent selector picking the best talent in Australia…
Wallabies vs England: Rugby World Cup preview, team lists and predictions
Clearly you missed the movie… and spare me the lecture on “everyone should be above personal attacks” when you go on to make one yourself *cough*hypocrite*cough*

Not Bothered commenting on other people’s bias… *cough*hypocrite*cough*
Sorry, Paul, ej, riddler, but at least I admit to my faults… you guys seem to think you’re the word of god.
For the record, I don’t regret the post above… I think both coaches have made some utterly stupid decisions that will make this highly anticipated game a borefest that will turn off many potential future fans…
I’m particularly disappointed in Cheika as he promised us better and is failing to deliver so far.
I hope I’m wrong about this and I will apologise tomorrow if that is proven to be the case.
As for you Paul, Fred Goodwin has achieved more in Rugby, business and life than I have at this point does that mean he should be immune from criticism?
Australia not the brightest: Woodward
This really is the battle between the dumb and dumber coach…. we’ll know which is which by Sunday morning!

RodMac, we were 12 ahead.. Fiji would have needed 2 tries regardless for the win with a bit over 10 mins left on the clock to do so if my memory serves me correctly. So, essentially we thought “cr@p, these guys are a chance at scoring 2 converted tries and denying us a single try in the last 10 to give us the bonus, even though we’re currently on the attack barely 30m out from their line”…. doesn’t sound like a lot of belief in themselves if you ask me…
Lack of bonus points could kill Wallabies' World Cup campaign
What’s funny is that Moore publicly backed Robshaw’s decision to go for a try against Wales, presumably this was endorsed by Cheika, Hooper and AAC who share the same view, yet against Fiji they went for the points….
Lack of bonus points could kill Wallabies' World Cup campaign
I’d kick him for kicking 73% when the opposition is kicking 90%…
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
Really? Bro was referring to Cooper? I never would have guessed as all his other posts are full of praise for Quade… sophisticated indeed hey Warwick?
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
we only get 2 bonus points if we score 4 tries AND lose by less than 7…. given we couldn’t cross the line that many times against Fiji, I can’t see us achieving that against England!
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
yeah, I’ll take that back… “sorry lot” was a bit harsh… ordered a titanium keyboard on ebay with express delivery so hopefully it arrives by saturday… enjoy the game!
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
I take confidence from my belief that Cheika knows how to get the best out of his troops, even this sorry lot… and that, if we’re really really lucky, may just be enough to win this thing..
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
Possibly… doubt they’d manage less than 0 tries against Fiji if given the opportunity though…
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
They were, no doubt about that, but the AB’s made a LOT of mistakes and how often in the last 10 years have they failed to get back into the game and win it, or at least put up a fight… they simply didn’t look like they were up for it…
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
Unlikely… Lealiifano, Higginbotham, Smith, Horwill and Arnold aren’t even in the sqaud so it’s highly unlikely we’ll see the best of what Australian rugby can offer at this world cup…
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
I think you’ll find Hooper is in the team at #7… that’s the least of our issues though…
UPDATE: Michael Cheika names Wallabies team for England clash
Who are the core players we can’t cover for? David Pocock? George Smith. Hooper? McMahon. Folau? Beale.
Matt Giteau? Lealiifano. Any of our locks? Horwill and Arnold.
Our depth is the best it’s ever been. Depth won’t be the reason we fail in this tournament (if we fail) as we have arguably stronger options in a number of positions that weren’t chosen in the original squad.
