Mate I’m a hardcore blues fan. Just like anyone I have this conversation with whether we keep Hodkinson or pick Pearce, we are still gonna lose next year. Cooper cronk plays at a whole different level to any halfback the blues can choose. Boy I’ll cherish this series win but probably the main reason we won was because cronk wasn’t there.
Anyway the blues still have to pick a halfback next year. I think depending on how roosters/ dogs go throughout finals will decide that spot. Hodkinson hasn’t really been playing badly but yes Pearce has been very good!

Don’t get me wrong, I love haynsey! But honestly in my opinion, other than stopping sam thaiday he really didn’t do anything. Ahaha I loved watching the blues get the win but no one really stood out in game 2. Reynolds game winning tackle on slater was pretty good! Ahaha Hoffman though played exceptionally well. Anyway I think your right and hayne will win the blues player of the series simply cause of his game 1 efforts closely followed by Hoffman and gallen
If we’re talking about origin players of the series I think it would go to hayne and guerra would be a close second. Hate Queensland but that guy was a standout! It must be so difficult to even get into a side like Queensland let alone standout!

How about the mid 90’s origins were they would go all in brawls then get on with the footy. No one can honestly tell me that when all the blokes grab shirts that your not hoping for a brawl to break out!
I’d love to see just one more origin with an all I’m brawl! Gallen/ bird/ Scott/ watmough/ Dugan/ Reynolds v myles/ hodges/ inglis/ teo/ Taylor. I have a feeling they would fight and everyone else would watch
Anyway with the punishment. They should leave the call up to the refs with stronger penalties after to game. But this instant 10 in the bin is garbage! League is going soft. It’s a mans game so if you can’t handle fights/ shoulder charges than don’t play or watch it.

Everyone knows Reynolds isn’t the most skilled 5/8 out there. But the reason why he is so good and will should be there for years to come is his enthusiasm! Man every kick thurston took Reynolds was in his face. Every ‘fight’ that broke out Reynolds was first there! Saved a try, a couple of smart last tackle options. Some nice kicks for repeat sets. Those passes that went to no one? How about you try to learn how someone’s playing style has been there whole career in a week? Of course there was always going to be mistakes. But on top, Reynolds and Hodkinson will go down in history as the halves who broke the streak. Amazing players now let’s sweep the series!

Manly we’ll deserved win but, for 1 v 3 which may be the grand final, you would expect the scores to be a bit closer. I’m a bulldogs fan and it sucks to see the dog lose but manly out played us tonight. Good rough game! Only thing I disagree is kasiano on report for a good tackle on cherry Evans? And even Tafua on report for sliding in with the knees? Both are garbage calls and should of been let off
