So Beale doesn’t love playing for his country, doesn’t strive to play his best when he is on the park?

Hooper says Wallabies "excited" to have Beale back on board

Might be time to drop the last 3 letters.

Let's get paranoid: Why has Kurtley joined the Wallabies?

Light beers, and think the Qantas seat both ways is free?

Firstly, yes they do as show me a perfect man and I’ll give you a perfect world.

Is it lowering the bar or is it raising expectation that someone who has made a mistake or mistakes cannot aspire to be better?

Two weeks training at an elite level and coming from a very high level to start with, probably meet standards 5-7 days in.

“As a coach, I don’t want to get involved in other stuff,” Cheika said. “I just want to coach the team as best as I can. The ARU decided what it decided through the tribunal process they set up. If I don’t select him now, when should I select him? Is it any less of a distraction if I select him in June or July next year? I don’t want to play those politics.”

I don’t miss the point, I see with two eyes, read with two eyes and listen with two ears and unlike some accept a punishment, accept an apology and move forward.

Would love to Z as getting more and more parochial – must be 20 year delayed home sickness.
Get back 5 or 6 times a year through work and find it harder to leave each time.
Build those dams mate, irrigate so the dairy industry can boom and Global Companies like the one I work for will grow their operations back home.

Gave me a laugh B but when you look back at ‘those texts’ you can use your light hearted poke as a good example of where we all place boundaries in regards to what is funny.

What I find as acceptable humor may upset others just as someone else’s may cross my boundaries.
It’s up to people who cross someones boundaries, whether this be around good taste or personal hurt , to stand back and think and acknowledge their stupidness, apologise, learn from and move on.

Change your name unless that’s you Greg Growden? Then best to keep the disguise mate.

The upside here is that more of the cheap seats will become available for those that want to see a harder, better, consistent non nonsense team.

Force fan and happy with Cheika’s move.
He has 7 test matches to build a squad which is able to have a crack at the RWC.
He selected a player who is eligible.
He is the coach, a successful coach, we aren’t nor is the ARU board.
The Tahs were the most dominant, best performing team of the Super 15, logical that they have the bulk of players in the squad.
Cheika selected Hodgo because he plays a style he likes and needs in his game plan, as he does with Horwill, as he does with Tomane, as he does with Carter.
Cooper and Genia need to get back and past where they were as players to meet Cheika’s standards.
No favourites with Cheika, just a plan for winning more tests than losing and having our national team doing their utmost to win the RWC next year.

If I had have lived next to some of these people I might have been burnt at the stake along with a few of my budding sports stars, doctors, lawyers, nurses, politicians, teachers mates.

I’m pretty sure there was a DUI in there too.

Not clouding the facts Utah but looking at from a broader view point.

You missed the dot here Utah.

Good post Ben

Nope, it’s the fair weather crew again, the ones with halo’s .

Hooper says Wallabies "excited" to have Beale back on board

Hooper is Captain because Moore is injured, Hooper is 22 and learning his trade let alone having to stand up and captain his national rugby team.

Walked on water lately?
Don’t like it? Go watch the NRL were all the angels play.

Not everyone Eddie, only those that spill a cup of tea and see a flood.

Hooper says Wallabies "excited" to have Beale back on board

Good logical view point EJ.
Surprised as I was on his call up but not shocked or dismissive of the reasons why.

How many young men and women have been on assault charges that ‘went away’ before going to court? and surprisingly with the courts and counsels assistance to do so.

Don’t think there is a magical age where a switch is flicked and you become a perfect member of the community.

Think I’d make a good 8

For some very well informed posters here and supposedly Wallaby supporters I think we have some part timers and throw in some narrow minded 3 strike views.

Beale is in Cheika’s calculation RWC for 2015 obviously, so playing 1 or 2 games on the grounds may be a good thing!
Beale has been fined $50,000 with no suspension – served his time PC brigade or you using the PC extended punishment plan?
Throw in that Beale has lost 3 x match payments of $30,000 from the current tour and his fine is at $80,000.
The next contract negotiations will also see the same contract put down with 1 or 2 more ARU clauses.
Cheika didn’t create the man management mess of the situation, McKenzie and Pulver did.
Cheika is doing what a good coach does – select, train and manage players to win.

It is not because Beale is a Tah, grow up. Beale was in great form this Super 15 and getting back to his 2010/11 form.
He links with Foley, Phipps, AAC very well.

Let’s look at his stuff ups;
Drunk and immature x 3
Social media failure x 1 (2?)

Me
Drunk and immature x 10; this includes 1) drunk and disorderly 2) resisting arrest 3) public mischief
Speeding x 4
Not wearing a seat belt x 1
Social media fail x 0 err to old and wise to have done this

Lucky for me all my mistakes and irresponsible actions we not on the National stage with a spotlight or three shining on me.

Maybe he can also stop the ABs doing the Haka then?

Michael Cheika named Wallabies coach - to take team to 2015 World Cup

PR Hoops has had to face a baptism of fire with every incumbent Captain around him falling.
When Moore is back he will assume the Captaincy and Hoops can go back to learning his trade. A captain takes years to mature, there are very few you could say hit the ground running. 2 – 3 years and Hooper will be what McCaw is now with McCaw’s development post 2007 RWC being the key in making him the worlds best rugby captain, on and off the field.

Ewen McKenzie's resignation a real shocker

I’ll be up there for a while, doing the after lunch buzz as tried water polo for the first time yesterday and still getting the feeling back into my calf muscles and the cramping stopped about an hour ago.
