What makes a good football coach?

Interesting article on how relegation can affect clubs in NSW

What makes a good football coach?

It would be great to see more talk around the nuances on strategy and tactics in the A League. Hopefully Paramount have a weekly break down and analysis show that incorporates this in to it.

What makes a good footballer?

Thats very true. A “killer” instinct is important in terms of finishing goals and winning games. The moment doubt starts creeping in, the ball stops being cm perfect. The more doubt you have, the more you are out of position and further off the tempo of the moment.

What makes a good footballer?

All the boots are swanky nowadays. I remember when the first white adidas predators came out and caused a stir.

What makes a good footballer?

You said it, not me 😂 .

What makes a good footballer?

Probably not but not everyone grows up playing for Barcelona 😁 . Some A League clubs dont even have their own club rooms to sweep yet.

What makes a good footballer?

Last season had a december kick off. Even if its a Jan kick off than it all helps with aligning the seasons.

Get the clubs out of NSW now or else the A-League season could be doomed!

If you read Fergie’s book he spent a tonne of time on recruiting younger playes like Beckham. He also spent a lot of time on setting up recovery facilities etc. It is an intermingled team effort between manager and player. For example would Henry have been the player he would have been without Wenger. Coaches leave influences on the game so we need to raise coaching standards around the country from the earliest age possible.

But I would like to do another article on a great coach and great club if this leads to a good discussion.

What makes a good footballer?

Rip.

“You’re the painter of your live [sic] Don’t give the paint brush to anyone else,” he reportedly wrote.

Wise words

What makes a good footballer?

Yeah most peoples early advisors are dad’s with an overinflated ego on what they could have acheived in their own football “career” 😁 . Plus most junior clubs have very little influence on the kids outside of training and game day. Not much positive psychology or game strategy is ever mentioned by the majority of coaches.

What makes a good footballer?

Thats true. Just getting then to come to trainings in the middle of July when its raining and cold can be difficult.

What makes a good footballer?

Maybe if there was a built stadium than that could work. It could be an excellent source of jobs for the next couple of years.

Get the clubs out of NSW now or else the A-League season could be doomed!

In vic the games would need to be finished by about 7pm so everyone can get home before curfew. So I doubt there will ever be a vic hub. Nsw makes the most sense as there 5 teams in the state and its been done before.

Get the clubs out of NSW now or else the A-League season could be doomed!

Even a March kick off could work just to be safe.

Get the clubs out of NSW now or else the A-League season could be doomed!

That clears it up. Thanks.

Is the AFC experiment over?

I think canaries can smell out if there is something in the air in the mines 😁 . Thanks jb as I haven’t researched the history of the EPL so I am ignorant in that space. If I have time I may look into it.

Is the AFC experiment over?

A League, NPL and State Leagues are my concerns as I can go to the game or help out at the club. I have never been to Liverpool.

Is the AFC experiment over?

That makes no sense. The A League is the pinnacle of football and directly affects the socceroos and olyroos.

The W League is a summer comp with limited rounds and some of the players nd up in the NPL season as well.

Is the AFC experiment over?

Had to look up who Bill was and no I am not that hardcore about football but I am sure there are some rugby and cricket fans that want the Socceroos to win as well.

Is the AFC experiment over?

If busineses are affected via lock downs and border restrictions, I doubt the socceroos qualifying campaign is a major concern.

Is the AFC experiment over?

Australia has qualified for the FIFA World Cup finals on five occasions: in 1974, 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018 as per wikipedia. So technically our later era has “worked” better. It just depends on what the objectives are for the socceroos; just qualify or actually win games and progress.

Is the AFC experiment over?

Whats the OFC and AFC difference?

I agree that football has stagnated in this country and so does the A League attendance rates. Our ACL performances show the same thing. What’s being done to address this? Free games on channel ten apparently will solve all this.

Our olyroos and socceroos performances show the same thing. We get outplayed at the critical games and try to defend our way to victory. The entire mindset of attackive football goes out the window with a summer season as the players are taught to defend and conserve energy until the last 10 minutes instead of attacking and pressing from the first minute.

At bare minimum a winter A League season would address things like running for longer and being able to extract more from yourself as a player every week. But apparently commercial realties dictate that quality of football is irrelevant.
