India find themselves in a spot of bother in Delhi as they head to day three of the second Test against Australia. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 3pm (AEDT).

After Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb led the way with the bat, Nathan Lyon kept Australia ahead in the game early on day two. With India 7/143, it seemed the visitors could finish the day with a lead close to 200.

However, all-rounders Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin kept India in the game, keeping the Aussie lead to just one run at the innings break.

Travis Head has led the way with a counter-attacking knock thus far in the visitors’ second innings, and will want the Aussie lead to extend beyond 250 to make it almost impossible for India to win in the fourth innings.

Australia are right in the driver’s seat; however, the Indians have shown over the last decade that they can snatch games away from the opposition in a 10-minute spell with the ball.

If Australia survive the first half an hour of session one of day three, India will start hitting the panic button and retreat sooner or later.
