NRL’s Super Saturday continues with the Dolphins traveling to Wollongong as they take on the St George Illawarra Dragons. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 5:30pm (AEDT).

The Dragons have had a tough start to their season. After a 32-12 victory over the Gold Coast Titans, they have conceded 80 points in their past two games and unsurprisingly lost both clashes.

Following a derby loss, the Dragons will be desperate to get back to winning ways against an injury-plagued Dolphins outfit. Jack De Belin has been named on the reserve list as he recovers from a calf injury and is set to be a late inclusion. A lot will fall on Ben Hunt to deliver if the Dragons are to go back to winning ways.

The NRL’s new franchise continues to gain eyeballs across Australia following a strong start to the season. The Dolphins are showing to the rest of the competition that discipline, determination and effort can get you ahead of others. Despite losing to rivals Brisbane Broncos last week, the Dolphins will be heading into the south coast of NSW quietly confident of producing a victory. With Sean O’Sullivan suffering a long-term injury, Isaiya Katoa comes back into the halves while Jeremy Marshall-King returns from his suspension.

Captain Jesse Bromwich will play his milestone 300th NRL match, while Jack Bostock will make his NRL debut on the wing against his junior club. While the Redcliffe-based Dolphins may not have a “marquee player”, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow is lighting up big time and you would expect his strong run of form to continue.

Prediction

The stats say the Dragons have not lost their past five matches at Wollongong. However, records are made to be broken. Moses Suli’s out-of-context comments have piled the pressure on a struggling club, while the Dolphins are still playing without fear of expectation.

Tabuai-Fidow to win it late into the final five minutes in the second half.
