The All Blacks are scheduled to do battle with France in the quarter-finals of the 2015 Rugby World Cup on Sunday October 18 at 6:00am AEDT, with the winner heading through to the semi-finals.
In local time, the match will take place on Saturday October 17 at 8:00pm, at Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.
The match will be televised live both via free-to-air on channel GEM, and via Foxtel on Fox Sports 2 (channel 502).
GEM’s coverage of the game will begin at 5:45am AEDT, and runs through until the finish of the game which is expected at around 8:00am AEDT.
Fox Sports 2’s coverage will be over the same time, but the channel will also be showing condensed highlights of the All Blacks’ games against Argentina at 4:45am AEDT and Tonga at 5:15am AEDT before the match starts.
The All Blacks dominated the pools stage and while France also impressed, it’s New Zealand who are widely expected to win the quarter-final and make their way through to a semi-final against the winner of South Africa and Wales.
In the pools stage New Zealand were undefeated, recording wins over Argentina (26-16), Namibia (58-14), Georgia (43-10), and Tonga (47-9) to finish at the top of Pool C.
They finished with the most tries scored of any nation in the world cup, and also the greatest overall points margin with +125.
France opened their campaign with three straight victories against Italy (32-10), Romania (38-11), and Canada (41-18), but fell short in their most recent match against Ireland (9-24), finishing second in Pool D.
The All Blacks are the favourites to win, listed at $1.16 with betting companies heading into the match, while France are out to $5.25.
The All Blacks are also the favourites to win the tournament overall and complete back-to-back victories after winning in 2011. They’re at $2.25 odds to win the cup.
France on the other hand are at $26 to win the world cup, level with Argentina as the fifth-favourites.
