The Everest is back for its third edition, with the Randwick Racecourse set to host Australia’s richest race once again, with 12 horses vying for a share in $14 million of prizemoney. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the race online, or watching it on TV.

The race is scheduled to start at 4:15pm (AEDT) on Saturday, October 19, with it to be ran over a distance of 1200 metres on what is one of the biggest days on the Australian Group 1 racing calendar.

The Everest will also be joined by the Caulfield Cup in the afternoon, with plenty of big names going around the two tracks, and thousands of fans pouring into the venues.

Redzel has won The Everest both times it has been run so far, however, will enter the 2019 as an outsider, with Arcadia Queen and Santa Ana Lane being tipped as the two favourites for this year’s edition of the famous race, with the winner set to take home $6 million in prizemoney.

How to watch The Everest on TV

The official broadcaster of The Everest, and most of the Spring Carnival, is Channel 7.

They will be covering the action from both Randwick and Caulfield throughout the day, meaning they are on air from 12pm (AEDT), broadcasting on their main channel, Channel 70. This may vary from state to state, so we suggest you check your local guides to confirm this information.

Their coverage of The Everest should be dedicated at Randwick from the completion of Race 7 at Caulfield, which is set for 3:45pm (AEDT).

You’ll also be able to watch the race on Sky Racing, who cover every thoroughbred race from around Australia. Their coverage will only be available with a valid Foxtel TV subscription.

How to live stream The Everest online

If you’d prefer to live stream The Everest on Saturday afternoon, then you’re in luck, because there will be plenty of ways to do so.

The easiest way is to sign up for 7Plus, which is free to use with a valid email address and will carry the Channel 7 coverage.

The other alternative is to use betting applications or websites, Bet Easy and Tab.com.au, who have the rights to show live racing in New South Wales. You may have to have an account with funds deposited to be able to view the race, however, so check individual company terms and conditions before acting based on this information.

Racing.com will not be able to show this race as they don’t have access to New South Wales racing, while you won’t be able to use Kayo Sports, the Foxtel App or Foxtel Now, as Sky Racing is not shown through these platforms.
