Two meetings to look at on Wednesday night, with my attention being at Bathurst and Redcliffe. Down below are the best bets for the respective programs.

Bathurst
Best Bet: Race One Number 4 Infinity Beach:
Looks a lovely race for this filly to get back into the winners list. Her recent racing has come at Tabcorp Park Menangle and while she hasn’t threatened, the quality of the form just reads far superior to anything engaged here. Has gate speed, so should find the front and prove too good.

Next Best: Race Eight Number 5 Desmond:
If he does everything right, I think he wins. If you were on his back last Wednesday, apologies for bringing up the nightmare. He should have won and won comfortably, but he made a mistake at a vital stage and threw the race away. He’s got the engine under the hood to spank these. Just needs to produce his best manners.

Value: Race Four Number 1 The Dancer:
Can make a little case for this five year old at a decent price. He ran here a few weeks ago and I thought did a good job given he spotted them a start despite drawing well and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground.

If he can use gate one to advantage, he’s in with a big shout.

Redcliffe
Best Bet: Race Two Number 2 Dynamic Bromac:
He’s been frustrating since going to Queensland but he does get a great chance to break a long run of outs. Has been plagued by bad gates his past five or so starts, whether he’s drawn wide or the second row.

This time he has the front row so think he’ll have the gate speed to lead and prove hard to get past.

Next Best: Race Six Number 1 Shes Miss Devine
She’s a beauty this filly and I think she can continue her winning ways. Led throughout and was dominant in winning here two back.

Last time out here, she had a second row draw to contend with but overcame that and was still too good. Should lead from the pole and be hard to run down.

Value: Race Seven Number 7 Looks Just Right
More of a 1×3 speck at a big price just due to the draw. His recent form has been sub par, and at times his manners have let him down, but he does have the talent under the hood to give this a shout at odds if things fall into place.

Hoping for leaders back, likely three pegs. Whatever the set up, he’s worth a speck.
