Two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with my focus at Tabcorp Park Melton and Tabcorp Park Menangle. Down below is best bets for the respective programs.

Tabcorp Park Melton
Best Bet: Race One Number 9 Harryhoo

I think now he has found winning form, he can go on with it. Go back last year, he was racing at Group l level. He’s been out of the winners list for a while but that all changed last time out with a strong win from a second line draw at Shepparton. Maps to get a good sit off the speed and class gets him home.

Next Best: Race Two Number 5 Awesome Ollie
He’s a little while between wins but I think he can get into the winners list here. Has been around the mark his past few, the latest seeing him run third at Mildura as a $1.50 favourite, so he is becoming costly from a punters perspective, but think with gate speed, he leads and is hard to get past.

Value: Race Five Number 1 Wotchawaitingfor
I reckon he is going much better than what his numerical form reads. He hasn’t been beaten far in recent times and hasn’t had the rub of the green when it comes to barriers.

That all changes here, because he has the pole draw, so if he can hold a forward spot, I think he’ll run a big race at odds.

Tabcorp Park Menangle
Best Bet: Race Four Number 6 Heston Zoolander

Fraught with danger making a first starter a good thing on the program but confident this guy can make a winning debut.

Jarrod Alchin trains with Cameron Hart to steer and he has looked sharp in recent trials at the track, running good time in winning. Has gate speed off the trials and should he lead, it’s race over I feel.

Next Best: Race Three Number 2 Our Ultimate Lizzy
Rickie Alchin has a smart filly on his hands here I feel. Had the A1 run in transit when debuting here last Tuesday but still had to take advantage of it and that she did, producing sharp change up speed in the straight to win and win well. Should find the front and prove hard to get past.

Value: Race Six Number 2 Old English
Reckon this guy is in with a shout at odds. Attempted to lead throughout at Penrith last time out and gave a really good kick, just feeling the pinch late and was nabbed near the peg. Should get a soft trip behind the speed and while he mainly races at Penrith, his two runs at this track have been solid.
