Two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with Tabcorp Park Menangle and Albion Park getting my focus. Down below is best bets for the respective programs.

Tabcorp Park Menangle
Best Bet: Race Seven Number 3 Smaltese

Looks a really smart colt this and he can make it 3/3 this prep. Dominant win here just under a month ago, leading throughout and spanking his rivals in a 1.52 mile rate, which is fast this time of year for a juvenile. Should lead and be too classy for his rivals.

Next Best: Race Five Number 1 Solar Express
I think this filly will take beating in what looks a very winnable race. Debuted at the track two weeks ago when parked outside the speed and battled on really well in defeat to run third. Drawn the pole, I think she can hold the front and from there, prove hard to get past.

Value: Race Eight Number 2 Cupcakesnwhipcream
More of a 1×3 speck at odds. The pole marker is the likely odds on favourite and should have little trouble holding the lead.

Can see this girl getting the suck run behind the leader and run a positive race at a price. Looked in need of the run fresh, so giving her a chance at odds.

Albion Park
Best Bet: Race Five Number 1 Joey Lincoln

The start is crucial but if he can hold a forward, he is clearly the one to beat. His recent runs have come at Marburg where I just don’t think he has handled that tight track at all.

Drawn the pole, gate speed is a concern but if he can hold a forward spot, at worst behind the leader, he’ll take beating.

Next Best: Race Three Number 1 Sugarinspice
Happy to take a chance with this former Kiwi, who makes her Australian debut for Chantal Turpin. This stable and trotters, I find them a bag of lollies.

One day they can come out guns blazing and look outstanding or your chances are done after 50m. A recent trial suggests she’s settled in nicely and drawn the front tape is a big plus for her. Happy to back.

Value: Race Seven Number 8 Colombian Gold
Reckon this mare is in with a shout at a big price.

She follows out a fast beginner so should be able to hold the spot behind the leader and from there, can get the suck run and be dangerous via the sprint lane. Recent efforts haven’t been too bad, so 1×3 at odds, happy to speck.
