Two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with my focus at Albion Park and Tabcorp Park Menangle. Down below is best bets for the respective programs.

Albion Park
Best Bet: Race 2, Number 4, Leap To Fame

It looks to be a Grant Dixon domination in this race, and I think punters will side with the race fit/in form stablemate, who has a barrier draw advantage. That should ensure we get a decent price for Leap To Fame and not something silly short.

He is one of the best younger pacers in Queensland and has a clear class edge on this field. Banking on that class getting him home and he looked sharp in a recent trial.

Next Best: Race 4, Number 4, Saginaw
If he runs up to a recent trial win, it’ll be a case of thank you linesmen and thank you ball boys. Former Kiwi that makes his Australian debut for Jack Butler and gee it was something to behold his recent trial, producing electric change up speed to win impressively. He should be taking care of this lot.

Value: Race 5, Number 1, Sugarkane
I reckon this mare is in with a shout at a price each way. Vic Frost trains this five year old, who has done her recent racing at Redcliffe and hasn’t been too far away of late. Comes up with an ideal gate in one, where Matty Elkins has options. Hoping the mare can land leaders back and from there, she’ll run a positive race at odds.

Tabcorp Park Menangle
Best Bet: Race 2, Number 1, Majestic Trio

This mare looks like she’ll be winning plenty of races down under. Made her Australian debut for the Hewitt camp at Canberra where she was a short priced favourite and justified the quote with a dominant win. I think she’ll be better on the bigger track and fitter, it all points to her winning.

Next Best: Race 1, Number 3, Florencita
This filly didn’t quite measure up as a juvenile but with a spell, she looks a better horse. She has the Blake Fitzpatrick polish and her recent trials at the track have been more than encouraging. I think she’ll lead this field up and in these type of trotting races, being out of trouble is a definite advantage.

Value: Race 7, Number 10, Ragnarr
The draw is tricky, but that should ensure a decent each way price for him and with that, he’s worth a bet. Ran here just under two weeks ago where he had a soft sit in transit behind the speed and battled on pretty well when fourth. He’ll need luck, but in a tricky race, happy to look for one at odds.
