Oh, dear.

Philadelphia Eagles fans have let the world know they were less than impressed with their Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Still fuming over what they believe was a dodgy call that cost them the game, their frustrations spilled onto the streets.

Heading into the match as favourites, and holding leading by ten points at the halftime break, things were looking great for the Eagles. But as the second half ticked on, the Chiefs staged a comeback, and the scores were locked at 35-all with just two minutes to go.

Sports opinion delivered daily

A dubious holding penalty against Eagles defender James Bradberry on receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster gave the Chiefs the chance to take the lead with a field goal. As the ball sailed through the posts, the Chiefs the lead and eventually the win, breaking the hearts of Eagles fans everywhere.

But things turned ugly on the streets of Philadelphia as despair turned to anger, and then rage, as footage of fans started to hit social media. It reached the point where police had to be called and issue dispersal orders.
