The race will be broadcast on both free-to-air and pay TV. If you are looking to watch the race on free-to-air TV, then you will be needing to watch Channel 7, who are covering Derby Day from 11am (AEDT).
On pay TV, you can watch through either Racing.com on Channel 529, or Sky Racing 1 on Channel 526. Both of these options have rights to show the Victorian Derby, however, to watch that and the rest of the day’s racing coverage from around Australia and New Zealand, you will need a valid Foxtel TV subscription.
If you are looking to stream the race, then there are plenty of options. The first is to watch Channel 7’s coverage, which you can do on either their 7live website from a desktop or laptop, or their mobile application in the same name from a mobile or tablet device.
A number of betting companies including Bet365, Crownbet, Ladbrokes and Sportsbet should be streaming the race for those with an account to each of those companies.
Here at The Roar, we will be providing a live blog of the race from 3:50pm (AEDT).
