If it is obvious as to why someone is getting booed, I think you will find the vast majority DGAF if crowds boo players, or situations in a game.
What people have a problem with, is booing for no apparent reason of a select few players, the vast majority of who share one defining feature.
Its funny, I thought Australian crowds were quite respectful until I travelled and lived extensively overseas. You think we are precious? You should see what others think of our sports fans internationally! Respectful and good supporters it very much is NOT!

And there always seems to be an excuse for the booing of players with darker skin, funny how Swans players who were going far harder at ND did not get the same treatment. I bet you have no idea why that is either??

Brooks is not a Halfback. At least not an NRL standard one anyway.
They played way better yesterday when Wakeman was playing HB and controlling the game. It freed up Brooks to run and chime in which he seems better suited to. Brooks cannot be calling the shots, it has not worked for what, 8 years, under various coaches, so I don’t understand why people keep saying he needs to be in charge around the ruck. He is clearly incapable of doing it.

The rules have been changed multiple times in the past.
Aside from that it would not even really be a rule change. The ref has the option to stand up the fighters. Alex may actually have been better off not reverse punching him as it may have been broken up as Islam was doing sweet FA
