Here’s my take on the same issue. I link to your piece.

Not like a bloke called “Watto” to sook publicly?
Rogue cricketer claims pink ball will be a success
It wasn’t meant to be funny.
It was meant to be a way of highlighting that the “pink ball is crap” argument is extremely premature.
We haven’t even played a Test with it yet.

You are defending the Anderson who pushed poor like Jadeja in the race?
Great bloke!
The one reason England can't win The Ashes
The premise that an article must be balanced in the eyes of all, or that it cannot take a firm view that is likely to cause debate is false.
If everyone agreed with my view, I’d be a very boring writer.
The one reason England can't win The Ashes
You miss the point re: Anderson. Sure he looks pretty. But it is ineffective. Siddle has a better Ashes average and Strike Rate than Anderson. He has a scarily similar overall test record too.
Anderson is hyped up because he swings it. You don’t win games by swinging it. You win games by taking wickets.
The one reason England can't win The Ashes
Anderson averages 38.23 in Ashes series over his career. His strike rate is almost 70. That’s awful
