Stuart is a sport and media fanatic who has been on both ends of the phone, spending many years as a sports media manager before going freelance and writing for sporting sites, newspapers and magazines. Growing up catching trains and buses to Leichhardt, North Sydney and Redfern Ovals he developed a lifelong love of rugby league that included playing, watching, coaching and writing about the sport. Your points are good but population growth doesn’t always equate to large on ground support for the local team. There are a number of other factors. Otherwise the Gold Coast and Penrith would be at the top with average attendances.

Increased membership, sponsorship and game revenue according to the club. Every club receives the grant but not all ended up in the black.
