It was perhaps the most emotional moment of Lleyton Hewitt’s farewell last night.
Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray all gave touching video messages to the former world number one speaking honestly about their respect and admiration for the Australian.
Hewitt played the final match of his career, going down to David Ferrer 6-2, 6-4, 6-4 in the second round of the Australia Open.
