184-pound Iowa wrestler Sammy Brooks won the Big Ten Championship, but instead of dedicating it to his training, or his coaches – he put it down to one thing, his mullet.
The Junior from Oak Park knocked off TJ Dudley to claim the prestigious title, and when he had a chat with BTN Network’s Shane Sparks, he simply refused to stop talking about his glorious hairstyle.
Here’s to hoping he inspires a new breed of Aussie sportsmen to bring back the mullet, after it died an unfortunate death when the 80s wrapped up.
