All eyes will be on Winx as she looks to make it four in a row at the 2018 Cox Plate. The big race will get underway at 5pm (AEDT) on Saturday in Moonee Valley, October 27. This is The Roar‘s complete guide to the race.

The Cox Plate is Australia’s richest weight-for-age race, with a $5 million purse on offer. Winx has claimed the title three years in a row and is a very short-priced favourite to make it four in a row.

Broadcast information

Channel Seven and Sky Racing are your options if you want to watch the race on TV.

Channel Seven’s free-to-air coverage of all the day’s racing will begin at 12pm (AEDT).

If you want to catch Sky Racing’s (526) coverage, a valid Foxtel TV subscription will be required. Their coverage of Saturday’s action commences at 8am (AEDT).

Those who’d rather stream the match can do so via a number of options.

Channel Seven’s streaming service – Plus7 – will let you stream Seven’s racing coverage live and free.

If you want to stream Sky Racing’s coverage, you’ll need either the Foxtel App or Foxtel Now.

You can potentially stream the Cox Plate through a betting app, but many of those apps require you to place a bet on the race you want to watch.

The Roar will, as always, have the Cox Plate covered with a live blog and highlights.
