The two-year-old bay filly was making her racing debut after being trained by Hayes and Dabernig, and has gotten her career off to the right start with a win on Australia’s biggest day for racing.
Muntaseera entered the race as the favourite, but Aryaaf sprinted clear down the straight to take the victory. Marchena picked up third in a photo finish ahead of La Girl.
