Why are we so obsessed with sports merchandise?
What to have a world where people run around not knowing what gender or sexual orientation they are, where people who want to have traditional relationships where a man marries a women have children in wedlock and treated and racist, bigots because they dare to hold on to true values and not let a bunch of indifference individuals who have no real identity and just want to destroy society because they want to be accepted for being something there are not even sure of??? No thanks. I’ll prefer to stay in my life where I don’t go near those people with a twenty metre pole and raise my children probably to get married and have children the proper way.
Sorry Israel, I don't want you back in the NRL
I wrote an article about this last year although it was published I have been saying this for a while now. There is a different jersey virtually each week now, it’s ridiculous. Someone please tell me what the Marvel universe which is an American comic book series that was made by Stan Lee and his mates back in the 1960s that is now owned by Disney got to do with the NRL? You do not the NFL or the NBA doing that to their jersey so why us??? I have no problem with the Women’s or Indigenous jersey they have a place but all these super heroes ones have got to go. Plus why are they 200 bucks each when they are made in some sweat shop for 10 bucks??? Even when sports stores sell them for 80 bucks they still made a profit. I have no issue with the Nrl making money but with too much merchandise they’ll do themselves out of business.
Why are we so obsessed with sports merchandise?
COuld you stay out forever???
Mary terrible article, i expected better from you, funny how equity and diversity only tilts to one side of the scale. We all have to except the new way of life but traditional values that have been the norm for 2000 plus years are no longer acceptable??
Plus meninga is a decent of Vanuatu not indigenous. Thought a smart girl like you would of done your research on that
Sorry Israel, I don't want you back in the NRL
Hi Nat, I think my qld origin tries and origin moments articles pretty much sums it up for me. Nice read thanks mate
It’s the little moments that matter
Nice article, was not even aware of the challenge being made. I agree with the author, very unlikely that a Mundine v Tsyzu fight would happen, but then again this is boxing ? and stranger things have happened Mundine v Ellis and Fenech v Nelson 3 even Ali v burbick spring to mind.
I doubt that choc would take the fight but will wait and see. Actually just thinking of this it’s a win win for Choc. If Horn losses he can fight Horn if Horn wins he has an tsyzu challenge to fall back on. Without knowing it Tsyzu probably has given Mundine more options than he deserves
Tszyu challenges Mundine, but will it happen?
Nice to see you can’t do an article without mentioning you old mate Ken Irvine. But fear not I fully support this. Bugger Manly!! They are the most hated team in the comp and they back stabbed the Bears for their own benefit. The are bottom feeders at the moment and that is exactly where deserve to be. The Bears returning would be a justice prevailed and good for the competition. The Rabbitohs came back in 2002 and that was beneficial, so BRING BACK THE MIGHTY BEARS ?!!!
How about the Bears taking over Manly?
We will see what happens this week I think the bunnies might get them
St George Illawarra take charge of 2018 season
Miracle on the ice happened in 1980 so why not miracle on the court forty years later??
Can the Australian Boomers contend in Tokyo 2020?
Hey Nat, I think your being a bit harsh on the author mate. Dragons ? are looking good this year, better than they have in years. But as someone else said the wheels could fall off soon. As the author and many others have said, the Warriors and dragons are the surprise package so far this season
St George Illawarra take charge of 2018 season
Barry”s beef against Lockyer? Easy answer, he didn’t play for the Bulldogs!! That’s why he loves Jt so such, cause he started at the Bulldogs. If Jt didn’t start at the dogs Barry would not care for Jt
Why isn't Ken Irvine an Immortal?
Agree with you David 100 percent. The immortals concept has been stuffed since the turn of the century. After the rightful induction of Wally Lewis they took over four years to induct Arthur Beetson and then completely dishonoured the concept by selecting the pill popper Andrew Johns. Meninga and Irvine have to be next, then Lockyer and then Smith. But the immortals should only add one player once every ten years to keep the concept strong as with every name added it weakens the status
Why isn't Ken Irvine an Immortal?
I didn’t even read this article, I didn’t have to. Once I read the title I knew the answer. The Nrl has a massive problem with drugs and violence towards women. They immortalise a pill popper for lords shake, if it was any other sport Johns would of been whipped off the face of the history of the game. Not being paid to give commentary and opinions. I couldn’t agree more with sodas comments
Does rugby league have a drug problem or do drugs have a rugby league problem?
Holy crap ? what one sided affair
Melbourne Storm vs New Zealand Warriors: NRL live scores, blog, highlights
Morning mate, I agree with you 100%. I like the Anzac Day jersey but I don’t like the sponsors names slapped all over it. They should have no sponsorship labels on it, surely they can do that for one jersey. But the Anzac Day game especially for league is nothing new. The Australia v New Zealand test match went on for years and that was a better representation of Anzac Day and more than the games today. It’s a catch 22 as before the Anzac Day games particularly in the Afl, Anzac Day numbers were down particularly in the 80’s and 90”s and really didn’t pick up again until the Anzac Day games came about in the early 00”s. It’s a great tradition to have the Anzac Day games particularly the double headed in Melbourne is just a shame they have to commercialise it
Sport's awkward relationship with Anzac Day
Hey Eddie. As I have said previously the ufc is punching out too many ppv events and this one is evidence of that plus 221 which was a disaster, 222 which was saved by Cyborg’s slap together match, 223 co main event changed almost as much as Horn v Crawford (still yet to eventuate) and now this. 225 is looking great if nothing goes wrong fingers crossed it doesn’t, Ive been waiting for Whittaker to finally defend his title and a rematch against Romero would be great. Cm punk is looking to get the crap kicked out of him again so that will sell some tickets. 224 will be an ok ppv bu it’s just a fill in until 225. Oh well it’s adds to My fight poster collection
Nunes to headline another PPV event at UFC 224
I think that is why the author picked who he did. All but five have been coached by Bennett at some level. broncos, Qld, Australia
Is this the NRL's best-ever team?
It’s clear that whom ever is in charge of picking the immortals has zero idea what they are talking about. Frankly I think it’s NSW bias as only two immortals are qlders and they were so quick to name johns, and Jt and Smith are streets ahead of Johns. Langer and Sterling were way better than Johns ever was, when Johns played origin he played something’s at hooker (something that he never did at Newcastle) as Brett Kilmorley was the better choice, so how could the author pick johns?? I notice that no one is fighting for the other immortals not being on the list, Fulton, Rapper etc so he has made some excellent choices in my book. My only change would be GI for Renouf.
Is this the NRL's best-ever team?
Feel sorry for Pearce, I copped the same injury doing the same in a game last year. It’s a season ending injury if he has torn the muscle off the tendon. Four months after surgery and I’m still another two off full recovery. Hopefully it’s nit as bad as mine. Good luck to him
