Is Latrell Mitchell the next Greg Inglis?
Hi RoryStorm,
When I was researching the story, I found it interesting that their similarities went way beyond their style of play.
Sorry the article didn’t do it for you.
Hopefully the next one will.

That should read Mork from Mork & Mindy fame.
Predictive text is a bummer.
Who is in your world team?
Taukeiaho is a mouthful and a handful for opposition teams.
He 101kg compared to Taumalolo who is 117kg’s, so there’s one reason why he isn’t as dominant.

MonkeyMayes you’re spot on.
JWH was offloading like bird-feeder a few years back, but after a few shockers he’s been told to stop.
The Roosters look too predictable and rushed in attack – their only chance is to start having second phase play.
Then they’ll be dangerous.
I think coach Robinson will sort it out, but as for Friend, he’s got an issue as apparently King Politis loves him.
With regards to Origin, the Dragons’ players deserve to have plenty.

Good assessment spruce moose.
Free flowing game – it was refereed like a State Of origin.

Tough call Paul.
Widdop was outstanding yesterday.
More measured and posed more of a threat than Cronk or Keary, although maybe that’s not saying much at this point of the year.

You’re right Souvalis – Cordner is not having the impact of previous years. He’s trying hard, but I assume he is being marked heavily by opposition teams. Coach Robinson needs to look at where he can create an impact from in the attack.
Graham is not firing at the Sharks.
Your suggestions of Sims and Jack De Belin are on the mark – they’re larger bodies and playing with purpose.

Thanks for your valid comments.
It was a ridiculous decision – imagine a team losing a Grand Final with that call. They’d be a riot.
Where is the consistency?
On a more positive note, the on-field refs treated the day with respect by blowing very few penalties in general play.

Does anyone still watch Ch 9 commentary?
I suppose you have to if you don’t have Fox.
Who will be the Blues halfback?
Jack Bird has experienced Origin before, but he doesn’t seem to be consistent at the moment.
I don’t think he’s reached the form that got him there in the first place.
Who will be the Blues halfback?
Thanks for your comment Stu.
I thought Tallis and Chewie were the same person!
Never seen them in the same room at the same time!!
Who is in your world team?
Thanks for your comments Larry1950 – good to see you’re following me closely.
Hopefully you’ve enjoyed a fraction of entertainment amongst the school boy errors 🙂
Who is in your world team?
Alf is a bit slow for five-eighth. I’d go with More from Work & Mindy fame!!
Who is in your world team?
Thanks for your comments Peeko.
Kata and Aitkin are a big reason why their teams are on top. Same goes for Isaac Luke – he was the best player in the competition in 2014 and has finally found his feet again at the Warriors after a few average years.
James Graham is a fighter with a never-give-in attitude. He value is as much off the ball than on it.
RCG is a surprise pick, but just watch a Panthers’ game you’ll be impressed.
Who is in your world team?
Thanks for your comments Jed.
I agree the five-eighth role is up for grabs, with no-one really standing out. Might have to do something radical.
Who will be the Blues halfback?
Thanks for your comments Sammy – this is true of previous years, but I think the side won’t be as impressive in 2018.
Who is in your world team?
Ponga is a genuine game-breaker.
Slater deserves to keep the fullback role, but ponga would be dangerous coming off the bench late in the first half against tired forwards.
Young gun Ponga's time will come
The best thing about the Raiders at the moment is the Viking Clap.
Should I ever tip the Raiders again?
True John H.
Brett Mullins is a great story for the Raiders and the Roosters.
Jackson Hastings is rugby league royalty
Good advice BigJ – I’ll get training.
