Let’s have a league with only teams that own their stadium then
It’s annoying that 25,000 fans will be locked out of Shark Park this weekend - but home advantage matters more
No it doesn’t, that is just what you are reading in to it. The traditional areas of the Melbourne AFL teams for the most part are extremely close together. Their training facilities now are extremely close together.
That’s it

Outside of St Kilda, you can walk through all of the Teams locations in 3 hours. The traditional bases are all very close together

Sharks are doing the right thing. No question.
If your team does not have a Stadium big enough to play finals at then we should be questioning why you are in the league in the first place.

I personally think Manly are close to the spoon without DCE

There is a real issue with the quality and number of 6’s and 7’s coming through

Yeah, DCE was special this year. I would have him ahead of Johnson

Good team Barry
I am surprised Khan-Pereira and Reynolds didn’t get honourable mentions. I think you got the wingers and fullback right. Ponga has only been good for half a season. Edwards would be the only other player to challenge Walsh for fullback of the year.
Issako should be a lock for Winger of the Year.
Tyson Gamble should be in real discussion for 5/8th. He has been fantastic for the Knights and I really didn’t want to lose him. He is a good player who is a winner, teams win a lot when he plays. His only other completion would be Mam, Munster and Luai. EDIT – MAybe Cody Walker, maybe

You should take that bet
Finals Week 1 Team Lists Late Mail: Warriors star ruled out, Knights get triple boost, Roosters, Sharks guns cleared

That hard road is why I think young teams find it so hard to go to another gear in the finals the first time. Teams just don’t win GF’s in their first finals effort. Broncs have some Origin players so that gives me hope.
Injuries next year may end our window unless we find a young half

I am expecting the Broncs to lose. Our record is too horrid to overcome in a final.
Please prove me wrong Broncs
Can Bazball show the rest of the NRL finalists how to beat the Panthers?
“Gabbatoir”
Stop calling it that. Only Poms call it that. No one here calls it that
Why every finals team can win the 2023 AFL premiership... and why they can't
History would suggest the Broncs Storm game is an easy pick. Storm should start massive favourites.

Broncs love to shift it early and deep in their own half, very much in Kevie’s image. With Haas offloading this season and Carrigan being the player he is the Broncs have the game to beat Penrith. Just have to withstand the defensive pressure when they ramp it up.

Payton has a lot of work to do.
Like us you need a young half to force Payten to give them the 7. Need some outside backs as well

Picking both of South’s hookers was over the top as well. Sailor and Mozer were big losses for us

I like your confidence. My take all year is this is one year too early to win the thing. Winning a finals game will be a big year for us given what has happened in the last few years.

I can’t see us winning this week. I think we lose this week, win week 2 then probably bow out week three. Maybe we can do enough by week three to have a real crack at the Panthers

“Well yes, you dislike and distrust people from another jurisdiction – it shines through in most things you post. Ergo, xenophobic.”
P off. You have no clue
I do not care why you support your team btw. It is insulting to suggest someone else’s support is not justified based on your own ignorance. I support teams from my area, where I grew up, you support them because of the colours and you have the hide to judge me.
You are prebaby also not aware that the QRL was going to bring a team into the NSWRL anyway so the Broncs just got the bid. I still support Souths, I just know they are not going to play in the NRL. There is no reason why Sydney teams should be immune from that same outcome.
Round 27 Team Lists Late Mail: Manu hamstrung, long list of stars resting, Papa's year over, Ponga races clock for finals
Not saying you did, I have just seen that stated as a fact by many online media and wannabe media tuoes
Lack of care factor over NRL minor premiership is embarrassing but almost impossible to solve perennial problem
I keep seeing experts going on about how the Broncs can’t make errors. If we listen to that and go into our shell we are no chance. Errors are only bad if you can’t defend them. We can defend them now. If we dominate the middle then the rest should fall into place. The first 20 then the 5 mins either side of half time are crucial, more than usual.
