2022 T20 World Cup Squads

The 2022 T20 World Cup will begin soon, running from October 16 to November 13. The tournament will take place in Australia for the first time.

The World Cup will see 16 teams play across seven cities. Beginning the tournament are a series of qualifying games to be played between Sri Lanka, Namibia, the Netherlands and the UAE and the West Indies, Ireland, Scotland and Zimbabwe, with the top two teams from each pool progressing into the Super 12s.

The top-ranked team from Group A and the second-ranked team from Group B will join Afghanistan, Australia, England and New Zealand in Group 1 of the Super 12s, while the top-ranked team from Group B and runners-up from Group A will be pooled with Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and South Africa in Group 2.

The opening match of the Super 12s will see a repeat of the 2021 final as Australia take on New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
