The second season of the Gfinity Elite Series comes a close on Sunday afternoon, with Week 5 of Street Fighter the last non-playoff matches at this edition of the esports tournament.

The top four is locked in and ready to go, but there’s still plenty of jostling within the finalist spots to make it interestingl

First up, it will be the eliminated duo of the Brisbane Deceptors and Sydney Roar duking it out for their first wins of the season.

They may not have a playoff spot to play for, but neither team will be happy walking out of the arena having gone 0-5.

With that match out of the way, it’ll be up to Perth Ground Zero and Melbourne Avant to really kick things off.

An Avant win here would secure an impressive undefeated regular season but, given Ground Zero could likely be their semi-final opponent next week, it’ll be interesting to see how much of their hand they’re willing to show.

The season then wraps up with the Sydney Chiefs taking on last season’s champions; Melbourne Order.

If Avant take care of Perth in the previous match, these sides will be locked in for a semi-final next week – so look to see the teams take a cagey approach if that’s the case.
