The Cleveland Cavaliers hit the wall in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, looking tired and unable to match the much fresher Golden State Warriors, who levelled the series with a 103-82 win.

The Warriors led by six points at the start of the fourth quarter but quickly blew out a big lead that Cleveland didn’t have the man power to match.

The Cavaliers shot just 4 of 27 from three-point range and had their bench on the floor with some three minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

Golden State looked fresher and were given more freedom by the worn Cavaliers, who had both LeBron James and Matthew Dellavedova on IV drips following the heroics in Game 3.

Stephen Curry had a better all-round game, shooting 22 points with Andre Iguodala sharing the scoring lead with 22.

LeBron James cut his head open on an NBA TV camera following a hard but legal foul from Andrew Bogut. His stats read just 20 points, with 12 rebounds and 8 assists, with 7 foot 1 Timofey Mozgov unexpectedly leading the scoring with 28 points, 10 of those points from the free-throw line.

The Cavaliers perimeter player just couldn’t make a shot, with no player able to hit the mark – LeBron James shooting 7-22, Matthew Dellavedova 3-14, JR Smith 2-12, Iman Shumpert 2-9 and James Jones 0-3, despite good looks and open shots.

In other words – Cavaliers players outside of LeBron James, Timofey Mozgov and Tristan Thompson contributed 7-40 FG, 22 points, and four turnovers.
