The third weekend of the Gfinity Elite Series gets underway this Sunday at 10am, with both Rocket League and Street Fighter V esports action taking place Gfinity Hoyts Esports Arena.
Round 3, Day 1 of the Gfinity Elite Series yesterday was a thriller, starting with the Sydney Chiefs snapping the unbeaten start to the season Perth Ground Zero had previously enjoyed.
Melbourne Avant continued to hum with a hard-fought win over the spirted – but still winless – Brisbane Deceptors, before Sydney Roar fell behind the pack following a thrilling loss to Melbourne Order.
Today, those three matchups are repeated in Rocket League and Street Fighter V.
In our preview article earlier in the week, Stirling Coates picked Perth and the Chiefs to split the honours, with Ground Zero to win in Rocket League and Sydney to triumph in Street Fighter, while predicting the very same split for Brisbane and Avant.
Melbourne Order, however, are predicted to get the job done twice against the Sydney Roar.
