Thank you James for your article. There is no international video coverage of the Supercars Melbourne 400, so I’m relying on whatever I can get my hands on! And this is well written 👍
Mostert wins amid tyre chaos in Melbourne
And the abuse/racism/sexism/homophobia slips through the net while the well-behaved lot get stopped in their tracks for something that’s hardly an indiscretion. This thread is a classic example of how things should be so well done chaps, I’ve had a good laugh reading them 😊

The fact is you can’t even have a left-field opinion sometimes, no matter how much evidence you use, without copping abuse, mainly from anonymous keyboard warriors. And they claim you’re disrepecting their opinion! Oh please…
For those of us that are left, this is day dot, we all just stay ourselves, people take us for who we are, and if they want to insult and argue rather than debate nicely and learn from one another, then click the flag button and that’ll be the end of that one.
Eddie McGuire's trainwreck of a spin job only reinforces damning Collingwood report
There’s too many anonymous keyboard warriors out here thinking it’s acceptable to go straight to the abuse card instead of responding to reasonably explained opinions with reasonably explained opinions. I would write an article about it to at least attempt to do something about it, but the power of the keyboard warrior makes such an article detrimental to my own prospects. Best wishes to you Spruce, if you read this, you will be missed, go well for the future.

Same here! How’s things up in Queensland though? Fairly decent after the blip with the weekend of lockdown?
Ben Stokes, Sydney Sixers want DRS in the BBL
For sure, that does suck, but getting on top of it when there’s one person will allow the good times to return sooner rather than later (again I’m speaking from experience). Nobody says lockdowns are easy, but the Aussie approach has always worked.

Count your blessings that your governments are quick on the ball (from a disgruntled Pom).
All the best for the week though, lockdowns are rubbish!

I’m sure I’ve seen the red/green traffic lights used somewhere before. It’s the most cost effective option as far as I’m concerned.
Mitch Marsh goes troppo after BBL's latest controversial umpiring decision
The BBL is a glorified domestic tournament. I think it’s great but its standing isn’t high. It should not be on the priority list for DRS. Perhaps getting a third umpire to watch replays would be a start with no technical gubbins involved.

My understanding was that 9 would show one of the opening round Friday night games FTA before reverting to Saturday nights for the rest of the season.

But seriously, editors add in information sometimes, just trying to make sure everyone understands what you’re talking about, even if you probably should know where Newcastle is. And not the ‘why aye man’ Newcastle either.
