Went to the world cup last year, fantastic time. I share your scepticisms though in regards to rugby having a world cup there. I think the next obvious choice is Argentina, that would be awesome place to have it.

I was quite young during the Loe days. All I remember is that it was a topic of conversation among the adults at the dinner table. And where I come from (a league stronghold) it was rare that rugby was front of mind.

I am not privy to the details of the Adern led gov.t and NZ’s current status quo, so I will take your word for it. But compared to the state of our politics her leadership seems a ray of light compared to what we have.

Big call to say they won’t need it as much against fiji. Naisarani would struggle to make the fiji squad itself. Mata, Waqaniburotu, Yato, Cavubati infinitely better ball runners than Naisarani. With 3 of those 4 names going into backrow for fiji i suspect Australia may struggle with the go forward. I am not sure a pocock, Hooper and Naisarani trump say a mata, yato and waqabirotu. Actually they don’t. But agree Naisarani should be wallabies 8.
Wallabies crave a natural ball-runner at No.8 and it needs to be Naisarani
