The Gfinity Elite Series Australia was a short-lived esports competition featuring six teams. Despite promising early initiatives, like a ‘challenger series’ that allowed ordinary Australian gamers to be scouted and ultimately drafted by professional teams, minimal public interest eventually saw the league shut down after just one year and Gfinity Australia itself closed down.

As such, there are no future Gfinity Elite Series events planned in Australia.
