Blitzar fits my Highway criteria, won last start, weight drop. Was a nice little win too, showed some gas when he saw daylight.

Unfortunately Sound found the other end of the riding spectrum, boy if I had a dollar for every time a horse I back at the Valley ends up 3 or 4 back the fence. You can’t win from there!

Not a bad day out. Ended slightly in front – so many scratchings and the track deterioration knocked a couple of others out. What about Bossy? He’s ridden two winners in NSW since the new season started in August, bobs up in the WFA championship, gives an import the optimum run and takes home the prize. Amazing.

All around it on Saturday, ended on the dreaded duck! Classique Legend far too good, you’d think the world is his oyster. Verry Elleegant ditto, although Anthony looked very classy in 2nd. Great day of racing, on to Cox Plate week!
It’s Me I guess is the other one – almost got stuck in the pocket, got the job done though. While hindsight is 20/20, if you were the slot holder, would she run better that Dollar for Dollar in The Everest?

My tips were decimated by morning scratchings on the 13th, so I’ve just waited until the final morning fields before writing up, so was a slight delay.
